Hello! My name is Kelly and I am what you call an absolute dog lover! I am so happy to take care of other peoples’ pets while they are away. It is a relief to know that someone is looking after them while you attend to more important business, that way you can relax and actually enjoy your vacation or whatever activity you have going on in your busy life. If you need someone like that, I can be that person for you! Just because you go on vacation, doesn't mean your dog should get left out! They can still have a fun time while you are away!
My rate for overnight sitting is $25 a night, with $10 for each additional set of paws. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a time to meet, feel free to call or text me if you are in need of a pet sitter!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I have always loved dogs. They truly do pull on your heart strings. Growing up we had both cats and dogs in our house. We started with 1 Cocker Spaniel, then worked our way up to 3 at a time. As expected, as time passed we lost one by one and felt the absolute heartbreak that comes with that experience. I have since moved out, gotten married and now have a dog that I can call my own. Best money I have ever spent. I would do anything to make sure that my dog has a happy life because she really does make a difference in mine. She is the definition of happiness and such a wonderful addition to our family!

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

Its important to know about a dogs background, such as where they came from as well as the history of care. If it is a rescue dog, we may need to take extra special precautions to make sure that the dog feels as comfortable as possible. I would also like to know if the dog has any special needs that need to be met. I want to try to keep with the same routine that a dog is used to in order to make them feel more at ease and comfortable at home while the 'parents are away.'

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Absolutely, I always have transportation to get to anywhere I need to be.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

I am completely comfortable with giving any types of medications, as needed. I would just want to make sure I knew exact doses and instructions for how to properly administer the medicine. It is important to always know a vets phone number, just in case of any type of reactions to the medicine may occur.

Kelly the most wonderful caring soul I know! The pretty pooches miss you!!! We could never go away from home for long but thanks to kel our girls were loved and taken care of better than we do ;). They still cry and start going crazy if they see her arrive out the window no matter the many months that pass they will never forget their time spent with their kel. They absolutely love and adore her as do we! She helped ease our minds knowing our girls were being taking care of so wonderfully at home where they were comfy they had no issues sleeping or eating they were just as happy as could be and at complete ease. Kelly watched our 4 dogs and 2 cats over the long weekend of Memorial Day. She provided daily updates as well as some pictures of our babies while we were away. All of our animals took a liking to Kelly which gave us peace of mind. We were thrilled with the condition of our home when we got in! Kelly took some time and cleaned up a bit as well as washed all of our blankets after giving each of the dogs a bath. She also pooper scooped the backyard. Kelly watched our dachshund for 10 days and she did a wonderful job. She sent pictures via text so we would see how he was and she cleaned him before we came home. She also brushed his teeth! She would make sure he had plenty of play time and snuggle time as well. She really shows affection to the dogs she watches. I highly recommend her!!

We drove an hour to take our dog to Kelly's, we couldn't have made a better choice. Kelly was wonderful with our dog. She suggested a "doggy to doggy interview" to ensure our dog would get along with theirs (and visa versa) which was a great point/idea. Everything about the experience was great. She even texted us pics of our dog during her stay and gave regular updates on her wellbeing. HIGHLY recommended!!

Kelly has been exactly what we were looking for in a dog sitter. We have a 12 year old Labrador and she does an amazing job with him. She gives him medicine, waters our plants, brings in the mail and anything else we need done. We are so fortunate to have found someone that takes care of everything at our home while we are gone and can't thank her enough. We couldn't ask for more from Kelly, she's the best!!! (Collapse)

Kelly was amazing with our fur kids! She had no problem taking care of our mini zoo of dogs, cats and ferrets. Shd was very reliable, checked in with us multiple times during our trip and loved our kids like they were her own. Her fees are very affordable. She was just wonderful.

Kelly was outstanding - talk about exceeding expectations! I have three rather high maintenance dogs - one elderly, one high needs around health, and one that requires a lot of attention. There was a pretty good amount of detail that she had to take in and manage - and she did that and more. I was constantly updated with photos and status updates. I was pleasantly surprised to arrive home to my mail being organized and absolutely no messes! Beds were made, blankets were folded, dishes were properly put away. This was my first experience with a professional in-home dog sitter. I can confidently say that it will be the last time I'll have to find a dog sitter! (Collapse)

We asked for Kelly's help after making plans to go out of town for the Labor Day weekend and had no idea what to do with our two dogs, Penelope a 6month old goldendoodle and Phoenix, our 6 year old Corgi. We were terrified for our dogs to have to be boarded, so it was great that Kelly was willing to come to our home. She was very professional, arranging a meeting ahead of time to discuss preferences, and what services would be provided. Kelly not only offered to take out our dogs twice a day, and feed them, but also provide exercise and play time for them. She even provided texts and pictures to let us know how they were doing during the days we were gone, which totally put me at ease. Our goldendoodle can be kind of a challenge, but Kelly was great with her and she loved having Kelly visit. I cannot say enough great things about Kelly's service, her upbeat attitude, and her professionalism. She is an absolute GODSEND! We will definitely be using her services again! (Collapse)
