I live in a duplex co-op house and we have both sides of the house, a large backyard and lots of space. All roommates love having pups join the family. We keep all areas clean and communal spaces are very dog friendly.
We also live right next to a park that is frequented by dogs and the grassy field is far away from the street. Every dog I have cared for loves this park (as do I)!
Since my first word, "doggie", my love for animals has only grown with my desire to become professionally involved with dogs.
I am originally from Seattle, WA but have lived in Boston for over 3 years now attending The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in pursuit of my BFA. I am studying photography so I would love to share photos throughout the time I spend with your dog.
When I care for dogs, I make it the main priority of my day to day. I understand that my existence is vital to the dog and the owner. I have realized that they depend on me so that their lives can run accordingly and the ability to assist in such a way gives me pride in my work. Furthermore, this type of work is immensely enjoyable. The dogs that I have walked and cared for teach me about patience, compassion, and diligence and I would love to continue to interact and learn with pets and their owners.
I am available for late nights, early mornings, private dog walks, group exercise, daily in home visits, mid day potty breaks, and home care. Just ask!
I usually negotiate prices with the owners and would be more than happy to meet in person to discuss price, scheduling, arrangements and most importantly.. your dog!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
I would like to know the type of commands you use with your dog, if he/she has any problems/tendencies (barking at other dogs, pulling on the leash etc.) that you would like to me to be aware of or assist with, any allergies? Special toys he/she enjoys playing with? What is your dog's daily routine? I will try my best to maintain your dog's usual routine while he/she stays at my house.
I love all dogs big and small!
Yes, I would have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency. Two roommates have cars that I can use and I also have multiple friends in the area who I can contact.
Yes. I have some experience administering medication. One of my labs had a deformed kidney when he was born and he needed to take pills. When he aged, he needed to be fed a liquid medication through a syringe.
So if the owner shows me how to administer medication, I would feel comfortable doing so.
Wherever your dog feels most comfortable. I have a very soft blanket and comforter that I have dedicated to the dogs I care for that can be used as a bed and I happy to have dogs sleep on my bed as well.
We have a large backyard and live right down the street from a large park that is very dog friendly. Brighton is a great neighborhood to walk dogs. I love to go for long walks around the neighborhood. If your dog is in training, I have lots of experience with dog leash training (big and small dogs) and would be happy to help.

I have been the pet sitter of my neighborhood since I was in elementary school receiving pay for walking, feeding, and care and I owned two yellow labs for 11 years (both have now passed on but I have one tattooed on my arm in memory). I have many references that will vouch for my dependability, hardworking ethic, and honesty. I am a responsible 22 year old who will care for you dog as if he/she was my own.
Currently I walk two dogs every week and care for dogs in my home regularly or in the owners home on occasion.
I have taken care of all sizes of dogs, trained puppies, dealt with old age, anxiety, and medications.

Yes, no problem at all!
As much time as you would like me to. I love to take dogs for walks, play with them, and be sure that they are happy and healthy.
For a past owner, I would keep a log of hours for the owner to review each day when she returned home. For each visit, I would record the time I was with her dog (ex. 1pm-3pm) and what we did that day. Then she would know if her dog had a long walk/short walk, what time he was fed etc.
