🐩 Effortless Pet Care! 🐈‍⬛

Pet care experience

👋 Hey there! Thanks for considering me for your fur-baby needs! I'm experienced pet sitters with companies like Philly Fit Dog and my own successful pet care ventures on Rover.com since 2014! I offer regular text updates with Rover card or Strava screenshots of walks as well as lock up procedures videos/photos for peace of mind. I currently work from home full time and board only one dog at a time. 📆 Schedule --------------------------

KC was friendly and responsive, and gave our dog a safe and comfortable space to warm up to a new situation. Our dog came home healthy and seemed to have had a comfortable stay. We'd use KC again and recommend her to others.

My partner and I were nervous about leaving our cat for the first time… luckily KC was able to look after our kitty and our fish while we were away! She was reliable and communicative for the entire week she came by the house. Our cat definitely wants KC as a sitter on our next trip away!

👍 Understanding Your Pet: I'm committed to learning your pet's unique needs, routines, and any specific practices you have in place. By understanding their preferences and habits, I can provide personalized care tailored to their well-being. 📟 Regular Updates: Communication is key! I offer texts with pictures each day but feel free to reach out through text or calls at any time. 🏠 My Home: A little about my home for potential boarders. I board 1 dog at a time, and I have no pets of my own (I'd love some, but I travel too often). I live in a quiet gated community with my boyfriend, Tyler. Tyler works at UC Berkeley but was once a professional pet groomer for years during his undergrad and is just as much an animal lover as I am. We live in a 2-bedroom apartment in a safe, low-traffic area with plenty of foliage and trees for your dog to enjoy. Due to apartment restrictions, I cannot board pit bulls (though I adore them), and I cannot take on dogs that are overtly aggressive to other dogs. While I don't allow my boarders to meet dogs while on walks for safety reasons, my complex would take issue with dogs that growl, aggressively lunge, or bark aggressively at other dogs they meet while in the complex, particularly larger breeds. Excited and curious is totally fine! I cannot board dogs with destructive tendencies such as furniture chewing or marking. I do not require crating unless it is preferred by the owner; otherwise, dog guests will have access to my two-bedroom apartment and are allowed on furniture. 🦮 Special Needs: At this moment, due to work, I am not accepting special needs animals. Though dogs that simply need medication or are high functioning individuals will be considered. --------------------------------------

Information KC C. would like to know about your pet

Please be honest and upfront about dogs' behaviors. I’d like to know if your pet is other dog sensitive, has issues with children, skateboards, cats, or all those details that would help me keep everyone safe and happy.

A typical day

Exploratory Walks: I love taking dogs on walks to explore. Whether it's through neighborhood streets, local parks, or nearby nature trails, we'll embark on adventures that cater to their energy levels and curiosity. I always keep safety in mind, ensuring that the environment is suitable for our furry friends. Playtime Extravaganza: Favorite toys, blankets, and treats are encouraged to come along on their stay! I take time out daily to play with my boarders. Jogging Adventures: I jog regularly and have had a great time bringing boarders that are well suited on runs!

I work from home for a video game company and do Rover on the side. I'm able to keep your dog company and can accommodate potty breaks around every 2-4 hours. At the moment I am only available for boarding. I'm able to meet in person in Walnut Creek, or can do a FaceTime call to see if it's a good fit. 🐶 Safety, trust & environment -------------
