Hi!
I'm a college grad who loves all dogs and respects all people :) I would love the opportunity to dog-sit for you and make your four-legged family members feel loved and cared for while you're away.
I'm a very punctual, reliable, responsible, and trustworthy person with a good attitude and a lot of heart! I am completely prepared to deal with any special needs your dog might have such as medications or special food, and I am also very respectful of your wishes for your dog as an owner - any rules you have regarding where the dog is allowed to be/not be, dietary restrictions, or anything else you can think of will be followed exactly - and your dog will also have a lot of fun guaranteed!
I'm available most nights and willing to take a bit of a trek to accommodate you! I look forward to hearing from you and to meeting your dogs!
Thanks :)
I have a lot of past experience pet sitting for family and friends with single and multiple dogs, as well as homes with a combination of dogs/cats/any other pets! I'm well-versed in dog owner etiquette and I'm very respectful of all animals and people :)
My family and I have been miniature schnauzer lovers my whole life! We love the breed and it's also helpful that they're hypoallergenic and don't shed. Currently we're on our 3rd and 4th schnauzers, 2 loving little girls named Olive and Sophie :) I'm a lover of all dogs, however, not just schnauzers! I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend's two dogs, Darla (chow/lab mix) and Hurley (Shepherd/Doberman/mutt mix), and I'm a firm believer in lots of love and exercise at the dog park!
Before sitting a dog, I'd like to know if they have a history of unusual behaviors that I should look out for, or things that the owner would like me to discourage. If the owner would like me to take the dog out on a walk or to the dog park, I'd like to know how the dog is with other dogs on leash or with children so I can be prepared for any situation. I would ask for the address and phone number of their vet in case of an emergency, and I'd also like to know what their favorite things to do are so I can give them lots of fun!
Yes, I have my own vehicle and am able to transport your dog in the event of an emergency.
I'm comfortable administering oral/eye medications, but I have no experience giving dogs shots or suppository medications.
Absolutely! I'd be happy to help you out with household tasks during doggy downtime :)
I plan on spending at least a few hours with your dog each day. Some activities might include talking a walk, going to the local dog park, trick training, play time, or just some good couch cuddle time! Of course, all these activities can be decided on by the owner according to your knowledge of your dog and their comfort level with these activities.
