"Travel Sitter" --I come to your pet.
Goal: Happy healthy pets, anxiety-free pet owners.
About me: The old gray mare ain't what she used to be. Unfortunately, due to some injuries, I am only able to handle very small and/or placid animals. It's not fair for me to say I can take on any kind of animal, because i simply can't do it. Oh, I get stuck sometimes, and I do what needs to be done, but then when I get home I need a very long recovery period, so it doesn't pan out in the long run. However, if you have an older pet, large fenced yard or your dog walks well on leash, I can manage just fine.
All my life. All dogs, big an,d small. Have had and taken care of fish, (tropical and gold), turtles, rats, hamsters. guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, and some birds. Horses, goats, chickens. Cats, of course.
No breed preferences, but attitude is everything. A dog who is willing to go along with my easygoing, gentle approach is of course Heaven on Earth. I can usually get rambunctious dogs under my control very quickly, as soon as they realize I'm on their side and just want to have fun. Everybody relax!
Yes. Moonbeam the durable Saturn. Gets me where I need to go, cheaply and efficiently. Best quality of my car is that she starts every time! And then stops, when I wish.
Yes. As noted at length above, I had a rather difficult horse when I was a young girl. She serious disliked human males, and in those days there were very few female vets- so I had to learn to give shots and administer all other forms of medication, fly ointment, muscle rubs, etc. From long practice, I am in the habit of writing a short report of what goes one with your pet in my care, i.e., "elimination", any behavioral issues, certainly any medication administration you have ordered.
Certainly.
Depends on what you prefer, what the pets need, and what my schedule allows. Best case scenario is the pet is OK alone for a while, with play breaks throughout the day and evening. However, if it's a pet with separation issues, we can discuss this and devise a plan for making them happy when you are away. I'm super flexible and my goal is a happy healthy pet and for you to recommend me to others!

Huckleberry is a very sweet easy going non-yapper of a small dog. Pretty much like having a portable cat.
