PSA: THE NAME ON NY PROFILE US MY EX WIFES. MY NAME IS ALLEN MIETZNER AND EVERYTHING ELSE ON THIS PROFILE IS ACCURATE AS I HELPED HER RUN THIS BUSINESS. I LOVE dogs. When I say that, I mean i want to hang out with them whenever I can. I have been around dogs all my life and taken care of dogs (on my own) on and off for a couple of years now. I am available every night of the week whenever you need me for up to two months of care. I have a small son who also loves dogs but will not get in the way or harm your dog. About this sitter: I love all kinds of dogs. My favorite is pit bulls. I play and have some training. I don't crate. Praise, love and treats is the way to train a dog, but I know some dogs need more and I'm more then welcome to do all I can to make your dog comfortable. My husband, Allen, handles all the online interaction so whenever you message me, he will be the middle man of sorts. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs my entire life. I have had dogs in my family for my entire life and have always been told that I am amazing with any dog that I meet. Meet my pets We have 3 cats and some fish. All of our cats are used to dogs around but they are not scared to let a dog know when he is getting to close. The most they would do is swipe at the dogs with sheathed claws. About my yard Our backyard is about 1000 sq/ft and fenced in. There are cinder blocks along the edges of the fence to prevent any escapes by dogs as well as a latch on all the gates. There is a 2.5 foot retaining wall in the middle of the yard dividing one back door from the other that can either be jumped over or ran around My experience administering medication Yes we can give medication if needed

Allen is the only dog sitter I trust to look after my dog
My dog stayed with Allen for five days and she was very happy. Allen is very flexible and good with dogs.
Allen might be good for short dog sitting but definitely NOT GOOD for a long stay. My dog spent three weeks with him. When I picked her up, she smelled SOOO BADIY that I need to take her to the grooming immediately and became much more skinny than beginning. Also Allen didn't even brush her once, which made her FULL OF MATTED HAIR!! I even found a piece of matted hair as big as my palm. Also I left a lot of dog treat to him, MUCH more than my dog can consume in 3 weeks (probably more than 5 or 6 bags of treats). But when I picked her up, all of treats are gone. I even gave him a box of 72 piece dental chews. NOTHING IS LEFT.
Allen seems very nice and so accommodating! Our 2 Goldens were there for 5 nights without any problem! I could tell the older one was exhausted when he came back home, the younger one has too much energy to ever get tired! Allen has his own dogs and it sounds like they all got along ! I will definitely rebook Allen again without hesitation!

I would like to know how much the dog eats, when the dog eats, how well do they get along with cats, toddlers, food, other people, do they get nervous/anxious, are they house trained, do they have some or no training, how well do they do alone for an hour, do they prefer toys when they are alone, is the dog good off leash? I don't have a breed preference.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have many trails within a 5 minute walk from our house and we also go on hikes in the Issaquah Alps every weekend. They last anywhere from 30 minutes to multiple hours depending on where the walk is. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will either sleep in our bedroom or in the living room down stairs. If your dog has a kennel they like to sleep in then we can set up the kennel somewhere that will have a little bit of privacy Time I'll spend with your dog We always have someone home with the dogs since Kari does not work Time I'll spend with your dog I will spend around 3-4 hours total with your dog, depending on what other animals I would be seeing that day. Extra house-sitting services Yes, light house work is not a problem if I am watching your dog(s) or cat(s).
