I'm a freelance writer and photographer and a full-time dog lover. I own a 9 1/2 year old Boxer and while I'm working on writing my first book, I'm living with my folks and their 9 1/2 year old boxer, who rules the roost. I have owned a dog since I was 21, when I got my Italian Greyhound as a graduation gift for college. I'm reliable, trustworthy and extremely punctual. I like to run, so if your pup needs exercise, then we will be good pals. I also like to snuggle with the little ones while I work away on my laptop. I have a flexible schedule and my baby will be well-looked after by my folks when I come to look after yours, or if you are comfortable, I'll bring him along!

We've had dogs ever since I was a little kid. When I graduated from college, my parents asked what I wanted as a gift and I said, "a dog." And they said, "how about a bicycle?" I won the short debate and Chloe, my Italian Greyhound, was my constant companion for 13 1/2 years. I adopted Alex, my boxer when he was almost four and though he's 9 1/2, he still thinks he's a puppy. He and I were featured in a photo essay about people running with their dogs in the September, 2010 issue of Runner's World.

I love all dogs, so any breed is a-okay with me. I'd certainly love to know about their likes, dislikes, fears etc. For example, my dog hates bicycles and he lunges after them sometimes on a walk. Those things are good to know.

Yep, I drive a 2006 Hybrid Lexus SUV. Plenty of room in the back if I need to take a puppy to the vet.

Sure thing. Alex takes heart and thyroid pills every day. He likes them in cream cheese. But I'm good at getting in or on them whatever they need to stay healthy and happy.

Absolutely - happy to get the mail, paper, water some thirsty plants.

You tell me. I mostly work from home when I'm writing or editing and my photo shoots rarely last more than a few hours so I definitely have time to spend if your animals need lots of attention. Price might change a bit depending if they need constant supervision or not.
