Description:

I have a fully licensed and bonded pet care company that specializes in private in-home boarding. I have a quarter acre of fully fenced yard, a small rambler that is conducive to geriatric pets and puppies alike.

I board pets of all sizes, giant or miniature. I will not overbook, and I prefer to maintain one-on-one attention to your pet, as though it were mine.

I do provide dog walks, dog park visits, overnights, bow wow boot camps, kitty visits, small animal boarding/visits, reptile visits/boarding, pet taxi, and house care associated with pet care.

I adore animals, and I have 10 years of animal care and nutrition specialization. I work from home, so my boarding is really hands on, and most of my animals become very attached to my family. I have my "regular fuzzy kids," and I am careful to interview all my new clients well, to insure that they will meld well with the pack.

I really enjoy meeting new people and their pets! Animals are my favorite subject. I have many references, both professional and personal. I prefer to stay small and develop relationships, rather than grow big and impersonal.

I look very forward to meeting you and your fuzzy one!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I have always had dogs in the house. I can not imagine my life would be complete with one fuzzy friend to share my life with. I also believe that children raised to respect, love and care for animals are better citizens and productive, empathetic contributors to society in general.

My compassion for animals is a passion that is like breathing-I don't have to think about it,it simply is a part of what makes me alive.

Julie N.'s Experience:

10+ years experience with animals.

Was part of a specialized program to help bring the rare breed Italian Bergamasco Sheepdog out of extinction through the mentorship of an Italian Geneticist, Maria Andreoli.

Contributed 17 Bergamascos to the USA and Canada over a period of 5 years. Helped UKC and just recently (this last January, the AKC recognize the Bergamasco for competition.

Highly experienced in whelping and natural supportive therapies for whelping, nursing and pregnant canines and cats.

Worked extensively with animal nutritionists and veterinarians to develop quality, biological appropriate portion control raw food or lightly cooked home made diets for canines and felines.

Are you willing to do additional tasks at my home while I'm away
(e.g., water plants, bring in the mail)?

These are all standard procedures with each of the services I provide, free of charge.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

This is negotiable, but generally 6pm-9am. If your pet needs to be around people most of the day, or needs a potty break, it can be arranged for a negotiated fee. Please let me know, so that we can customize a package that is suitable for you and the livelihood of your pet.
