LOTS of experience & LOTS more love

Pet care experience

What can I say! i'm a sucker for puppy love! I have worked full time as a certified counselor at Doggy Day Care & Overnight Boarding facilities for years, as well as at pup rescues around the nation! I am certified in both pet CPR and First Aid, and am well rounded in animal behaviorism. I have owned a variety of animals, and don't subject to any! I love meeting new pets, and getting to learn the individual personalities of each! I am a very active and energetic person, and spend lots of time outdoors. Your pup will get plenty of romping around time, with a little chew toy lounging to finish it off! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! About this sitter: Why I love dog sitting Dogs are awesome! I love having new animals around, and a pal to explore and hike with! Getting to know the quirky and unique personalities of a new pet is so much fun, Although I can't lie..I definitely have a soft spot for getting on the good side of a stubborn or leery pet. My experience with all variations of animal behavior has left me equipped to care (and enjoy caring for!) even the most difficult of pets. We can discuss your pets grooming, medication, and all basic (and not so basic) needs! Meet my pets My policies for pet sitting in my home have recently changed, as I now share a home with a "human preferred" pooch. A lovable and snuggly pitbull mix named Kratos. Unfortunately, Kratos had a rough start in life with other dogs, and is very selective with his k9 friends. Sadly, for the safety of your pets, this inhibits my ability to continue to watch pets out of my house. I will however, be continuing to offer visits to your pet in the comfort of their own home! My experience administering medication As part of my previous job requirements, I am completely comfortable administering medication, and have experience in a vast variety of both major and minor dog and cat medication needs.

Julia is the best! Not only did Alfred have a blast, Julia helped in socializing him with 2 fur baby cats. (she offered cat free accommodations as well, but we chose to let him have a test run) She took amazing care of him and sent us many updates. We were away for 10 days!!! I knew he was safe and happy. He has made a friend for life. We will absolutely be booking again.

My pup was totally spoiled with Julia. She was so sweet and you could tell she really had a passion for dogs.

Julia was so enthusiastic and sweet to let our puppy into her home. She gave Lola so much exercise that we thought she trimmed her nails, but really she was just out playing so much they filed themselves down significantly. I will absolutely be using Julia again!

I accept all breeds, and love dogs of all temperments! I have made plenty of friends with the crabbiest of pooches, and don't discriminate against stand offish pups! All I ask, is for a basic personality run down of your dog, that includes possible fears, likes, and dislikes!

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I live up the street from the Lakewood/Rocky River Metro Parks. Judging by age, breed, and energy level, we will stroll on 1-3 walks a day with potty breaks in between. Each walk is typically an hr long, unless otherwise specified. In the warmer months (with parents permission) we'll finish off our walk with a cool down dip in the river. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Lets be honest, we all know where they end up. Time I'll spend with your dog Your dog will never be left for more then a typical work day (6-8hrs) a day. There are multiple daily walks both before and after work, and play time in between. If your dog has a medical condition etc. and can not be left alone for that length of time, specific accommodations will be altered to insure your pets getting the proper care. Time I'll spend with your dog I plan on revolving each and every day around your pup, and your pup only! You don't have to worry about your dog being left alone for hours on end, and rest assured they will get plenty of play time, and snuggle time! Extra house-sitting services Of course! Anything to assure you a worry free time away from home!
