I am a recent college graduate from UC Santa Barbara that is working within the field of Interior Design. In my free time I would love to dog sit as an escape from the professional world of paperwork and desk duties.

I have owned a variety of dogs all my life and I currently have a small yorkie named Penny and a rescued poodle named Pierre. I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and frequenting the local dog park with my pooches. I am a firm believer that dog owners are happier people as a result of the unfaltering love of their furry companions, therefore each dog should receive the utmost care. In short, I am familiar with a range of dog persoalities, traits, and behaviors.

I have been a dog owner all of my life. I've rescued multiple dogs as well as volunteered at local shelters. I have owned a variety of breeds: Alaskan Malamute, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Miniature Doberman Mix, Poodle, Basset Hound, and two Yorkshire terriers. In addition, I am not limited to dogs, as I have owned many cats as well. I would consider myself an overall pet lover.

I have no breed preferences and love all breeds the same. Before sitting any dog, I would like to know a few general things:
1. The feeding schedule and general diet.
2. Does the dog like to play?
3. Does the dog like to socialize? Would they enjoy going to the dog park, beach or on a hike?
4. Any general likes or dislikes that I should know about.

Yes, I own a new Volkswagon Jetta and I have a dog "seatbelt" in the event that a dog does not like riding in the car.
