Cozy Home with Loving, Active Couple and Dog

My boyfriend Dustin and I am are animal lovers of all kinds! In our home, we currently live with 1 cat and 1 dog in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. We live in a 2 story, 2 bedroom home with a small yard and basement.

We look forward to bringing dogs into our home for our 1.5 year old, friendly pup Edgar to play with and get to know and love. We live near 4 dog parks and I work as a commercial artist so my hours are very flexible, leaving me plenty of time to give my dog exercise and attention. My schedule also allows me to visit dog owners' homes to help care for their animals.

We are looking for dogs that are house trained, and we do have a crate if you prefer to have your pup use it at any point. Cat friendly dogs are preferred, however, our cat knows how to hide when he needs to!

Both Dustin and I work as artists in the city of Philadelphia. I also have a Masters in Clinical Psychology and work part time at the University of Pennsylvania. My artwork is what is called "yarn bombing" and I go by the name of ishknits. I cover public objects with knitting. Dustin has his Masters of Fine Arts and currently works as a painter. He is 29 and I am 26 and we do not have any children. We are interested in having dogs for our own dog Edgar to socialize and play with, and since we think it's best to only have one dog at the moment, we feel that boarding would be a great way for all of us (Edgar included) to experience multiple loving dogs in the home.

We do not have any breed preferences, but we would prefer to have a dog who enjoys being around other dogs. We also prefer for a dog to be house trained. Energetic is totally fine and welcomed but aggressiveness will be tough for us since we have another dog in the home.

I can spend as much time as YOU would like me to spend with your dog. I create my own schedule and feel very willing to accommodate.

We have a very small, fenced in back yard. It's no place to run around, but there are several fenced in dog parks in the area

Your dog can sleep in a crate or open in the house, whichever you prefer

I will take your dog for walks through several neighborhoods, including Fishtown, Northern Liberties, and New Kensington. Very urban neighborhoods but riddled with dog parks.
