My name is Jessica and I reside in Tempe, Az. I have 20+ years caring for pets and 7 of those were spent caring for pets professionally. I have a background in pet nutrition as well and I only have your pets' best interests in mind. I play an active role in the Phoenix Rescue community and have 5 rescue babies at home myself who are all my best friends. Meatball, Herkalee and Gertie are my canine buddies and love to play with other dogs... and a playdate will be sure to wear your pooch out! I also have Freyr, my hairless kitty and Prissy Zona, my furball of a kitty. I have dog training experience under my belt and I even taught many cats to walk on a leash! Not only do I care for furry friends, I also have experience with the scaly kind as well! I use to run a reptile rescue and had a snake breeding project as well... I have had many different pets in my lifetime including Pigs, Snakes, Rats, Hamsters, Fish, Dogs, Cats, Lizards, Turtles and even high maintenence pets such as the Hairless Spyhnx cat. I have 4 years of experience in Pet health and nutrition and I play an active role in local animal rescue. I have been told that I connect well with animals and they ALWAYS fall in love with me... and the feeling is ALWAYS mutual. I am quite obsessive when it comes to the proper care and treatment of an animal and believe that they should be treated with understanding and respect. My experience administering medication I have administered medication to snakes through a needle and syringe, given dogs and cats daily meds orally, hand fed small kittens and puppies, assist fed an adult dying cat for 6 months with a syringe and meds (She made a COMPLETE recovery ;) Needless to say, I am comfortable with anything that requires extra care.

Jessie was great with the girls! This was a travel sit. She came 3 times a day for potty breaks, walks, feeding, cuddles, and whatnots. Jessie sent pics and videos to show how much of a good time Stella and Ruby were having. I would definitely have Jessie watch them again.
We have 2 large dogs and a cat. They are our babies! We don't have children so they are very spoiled and used to getting a lot of attention. They are pretty much our world. I've always had a hard time leaving town because I've never been fully comfortable with leaving them behind. A few months ago Jessica house/dog/cat sat for us and is was the first time ever that I've been able to go on a trip and not stress about our furry children. She is a true animal lover and pays attention to their every need! I think she spoiled them more than we do. She checked in with me daily and gave me updates on their activities. I was able to put my mind at ease and truly in enjoy our trip out of town...for the first time.
Jessica is the very best pet sitter I've ever met and recommend her without reservation. My dog loves her, she dropped everything to help find my dog when someone lost her, and I also witnessed Jessica put herself in harms way to protect my dog. Jessica relates so well with all animals and takes as good of care of other people's animals as she does her own.

It is really important to understand and respect a dog's behavior. I can handle unruly animals, but i would want to know what I am dealing with and if training may be an appropriate option. I have NO breed preferences as all of our babies are special to me. I will always ask questions before sitting a dog for the first time to understand temperment, anxieties/fears and boundaries and also what makes them happy and calm.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I would spend as much time with your dog or cat as you would expect. I hate leaving little guys alone, and for an overnight stay, would be with them consistently during the visit. Extra house-sitting services As a prior personal assistant, I have no problem doing basic chores and errands while you are away including house cleaning, checking the mail, post office runs, grocery shopping and EVEN babysitting.
