Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am here to love your pets while you are gone! I have several years of experience as a dog trainer, as well as several years experience as a veterinary technician. I graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Animal Sciences-Preveterinary Medicine.

My experience can be put to use for you! Having a sitter come to your home will not only make your furry friend feel more comfortable, but will provide you with more peace of mind, knowing that Fido is safe in his own home. Due to my experience, I have no problems handling dogs that may need medical treatments (such as administering medications, or fluids, etc). You may even come home to a better behaved pet! (Or one who knows a fun new trick :) )

I also have experience with livestock/backyard flocks, so if you have other pets that need care while I am visiting Fido, I am happy to help out!

I have been a dog lover since I was able to speak the word "dog"! Animals and caring for them has always been in my blood. I grew up with a menagerie of animals, and worked my way toward an Animal Sciences degree, with plenty of experience helping in shelters, working in veterinary medicine, and professionally training.

I will have a form for you to fill out, with information about your dog, special routines, needs, medications, etc, as well as contact information in case of an emergency. All of these are important to making your vacation a success, and our sitting experience a taste of home!

No breed preferences! I love them all, big and small.

I own two cars, and am located near a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic in the event of an emergency, as well as having medical experience in the veterinary field.

Having worked as an assistant/technician for several years, I have no issues with administering medication, orally, IV, or any other needed route.

No problem! While I am there, I will happily water plants (and maybe even sing to them), collect mail, or care for any other animals you may have.

However much time you wish! If your dog requires longer walks, or loves to fetch, let me know! I typically spend around an hour at each visit, and will visit 2-3 times daily depending on your dog's individual needs.
