Pet care experience

Hello everyone! â–²My name is Jessica. I am a recent Foothill College Vet Tech alumni and am a Registered Veterinary Technician. If that mouthful sounds a bit confusing, I am that handy-dandy nursing staff member that your Fluffy or Lucky gets to spend time with whenever they go to the vet! â–²I offer pet sitting as a side job. â–²I live at home with my lovely family consisting of my mother, sisters, uncle, and my fiance. During my free days, I am at home, playing with my our three dogs, and spending time with my family. â–²Currently, I work four days a week at an Emergency Animal Clinic. â–²My current work schedule only allows me to be completely free Thursday - Saturday. In order to dedicate as much time as possible to your pet(s), I only offer to pet-sit on these days.

Jessica was an amazing mom to our two yorkies when we were away for a week. She kept us updated and sent pictures, especially knowing one of our dogs can be anxious. She is so sweet and loves animals, and even gave them several baths during their stay. I'd recommend Jessica to all my family and friends.

Jessica was very nice and I liked the family environment my dog was in. I think that helped him forget that I was gone. He was very tried when he came home too, so I know he got some good exercise.

Jessica did an amazing job with our 2 dogs! When our dogs came home, they acted like they had never been away from us, which for us showed how much they enjoyed staying with her. She also did so many extra things for both of them. One had severe allergies before she stayed over and during the time she stayed, Jessica washed her and soothed her rashes and even set up a fan so she could remain cool while she was there. We would rate Jessica as easily the best, most caring dog sitter we have used and we highly recommend her to anyone who thinks they have a fussy, needy dog. We would give even more stars if possible. Jessica is the best by far and we have used many other sitters in the past!

Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet

â–º I'd like to know if your pet is up to date on vaccinations, if he or she is on any medications (including flea, tick, and/or heartworm), and if they are parasite free. Paperwork confirmation is ideal. â–º Behavior quirks, such as food aggression, anxiety, or marking are a few details I like to be made aware of before your pet stays with me. Not to say that quirks such as these will result in inability to book a stay, but to rather think together on how I can minimize any issues during your pet's stay. â–º Finally, each pet must be comfortable in sleeping in their own bed or in a crate. I am not able to accommodate pets sleeping on our beds.

A typical day

â– My family and I are very laid back in regards to our rules. Pets are allowed access to the main living quarters of the house - living room, dining room, and kitchen. They are allowed access into our bedrooms on a limited basis, with regards to how housebroken they are. â– Dogs spending the night with us have the option of sleeping in the living room in their own beds or crates (as long as they are provided) or in our rooms should their beds fit. Pets who only feel comfortable sleeping on people's beds are no long able to be accommodated at this time. â– Potty Breaks are an adventure all in their own. Our large backyard is mostly trees of various pet-friendly fruit variety, providing all dogs with a neutral zone to sniff, play, and run around. Morning walks range from a few rounds around the block to an excursion to the local dog parks - Butcher and the Los Gatos Creek County park are a few. â– Quality time varies by day. On my free days, they'll spend anywhere from 6 to 10 hrs to the whole day with me. However, on days that I work, pets will spend time with me from breakfast up until 11:30 am. From there on out, my family members step in to provide regular potty breaks and meals.
