I live in town, in a small apartment where I live with my two cats, Chunk and VeggieBurger, who are my heart and soul. But that doesn't mean I don't love dogs! I am very good at giving them some love and comfort until their human can get back to them. Let me keep your fur baby company!
I live in Baltimore city in a small second-floor apartment with my two cats. I love walking downtown and I am "that girl" who stops you to ask if I can pet your dog. I love all animals and think they are a very special part of my life. I am very enthusiastic about pet health and I believe they have a strong influence on our well-being also. Having two cats currently, and having grown up with dogs (and various rodents and reptiles) most of my life, I can safely say I feel comfortable with all types of animals and would love to meet your pup. I am my aunt's go-to girl when she needs a dog sitter for her menagerie consisted of varying age and size, and would love to help you, as well! Sadly, however, since I live in a very small apartment, I don't think it is fair of me to sit a larger dog, as they would not have much room to play.
I have loved dogs my entire life. When I was young I begged and pleaded with my dad to get a dog. He promised, "When we move to a bigger house, we'll get a dog." So when I was 12, it finally happened, and we adopted a feisty little mutt named Peaches from the local Humane Society. She was my best friend and as the saying goes, she rescued me. I was a pretty awkward kid and she just did not care about any of that. When she looked at me, I understood why DOG is GOD spelled backwards. She died several years back, and eventually the family was ready for another dog. Recently our family's second dog, Athena, passed away. She was having issues getting up, she was in terrible amounts of pain, and was starting to have kidney failure. She was huge, but thought she was a lapdog anyway. Other than the two main dogs in my life, I have always been around them at family functions, friends' houses, and some houses where I used to babysit as a teenager.
I would like to know what to expect, basically. I am good at giving pills, ear drops, and other medications (though I have never given insulin shots, that is maybe the only thing I am not confident about), but obviously knowing any medication information is good to know ahead of time, what type of treats they like, and if they are uncomfortable in certain situations or around certain types of people or other breeds of dogs, and how they handle being with cats. I have no preferences or restrictions with breeds, I love them all!
Yes, I have my own transportation and it is very reliable. I am a professional mechanic and take good care of my car.
As stated above, I am comfortable with everything except administering shots.

I have been dog sitting for my aunt and uncle for the past four years whenever they go on vacation. They have four dogs, two cats and two fish tanks. I have cared for other family members' dogs on various occasions, as well as for neighbors while growing up in PA.

Not a problem! I will treat your home like it is my mother's home.
Currently I am unemployed due to some health issues with my hands (I am unable to perform even small manual labor tasks due to the problems I am having) so I can spend quite a bit of time with your dog. I do not plan on being away for more than four to six hours.
