My husband and I own a ranch home with a finished basement and fully fenced yard. We would love to watch your fur-baby for as long as you are away. We do have cats so the dog would need to be okay with other animals. All but our youngest cat have been around dogs and tend to favor avoidance. The oldest cat has been attacked by a dog and is somewhat defensive but we have precautions to keep them either separate or introduced slowly and safely for all parties. There is also a Hedgehog in residence but your baby would not be interacting with him so don't worry! I currently work from home so your dog would have almost 24/7 care. We have cats but they have been exposed to dogs before and we will take all precautions to make sure that your dog is safe and comfortable! About my yard We have a fully fenced back yard that was listed as .18 acres when we bought the house. It's nothing huge but is plenty of room for your baby to stretch their legs in between walks or trips to the park! My experience administering medication I have pilled both cats and dogs. I have also administered liquid oral meds and would not have a problem giving shots with a quick overview.
