Hi there!
I'm Jen. I am offering my services as a pet sitter to you and your family. Here's a list of a few reasons why I am who you want to watch your fuzzy family member:
* I was a Kennel Tech at a Boarding Kennel for five years. I believe that the kind of experience I gained from that job is something few others can claim to have. I've worked with every kind of dog; big, small, pure bred, and mixed.
* The above mentioned kennel experience also taught me a lot about how to care for the medical needs of your dog. I understand that each dog's needs are different, and would treat your pet according to their personal needs.
* I can handle giving your pet any medications they might need. This includes everything from pills to insulin shots.
* I am also experienced with dog training. If your pet has discipline issues, you can rest assured that I can handle it.
Thanks for reading, and hope to hear from you!
I've been a dog lover all of my life. My first job was at a local Boarding Kennel, where I got a job the minute I was old enough. My boss often took note of my ability to handle all kinds of dogs, even the ones with behavioral issues.
I'd like to know what breed you have, their age, their physical condition and and related medical issues. I'd like to know what kind of food they eat, where you store it in your home, and what their eating and drinking habits are. The last thing I would like to have ahead of time is simply a head's up if they have any behavior issues or particular fears. For example, if your dog hates men, I want to know this ahead of time so if I take him/her for a walk and he/she starts going nuts at the mailman, I need to know why. OR, if if your dog is afraid of rain, I want to be aware so I can schedule potty breaks around any potential rainfall (if possible). Basically, I want to know all you know about your dog.
Yes I do.
Absolutely. Anything from pills to insulin and everything in between. I have never yet failed to get a dog to take a pill.
Sure, within reason. I will not clean your house top to bottom while your away, but I don't mind running the vacuum so there's not fur an inch thick on the carpet when you get home.
Typically, I would say that I could swing over to your house 3-5 times a day, depending on the needs of the dog. Each visit I would be spending a minimum of 30 minutes with your dog, more if I have time. I am not willing to spend the night. I have a husband and a five month old daughter to take care of, as well as a part time job.
