I have been around and loved dogs (along with other animals) since I was a child. I have dog-sat on and off for approximately a year and a half. I am a former SPCA volunteer and have quite a diverse range when it comes to working with animals. Warning-I've had quite a few reports of dogs crying during the car ride home. That's how much fun we have at the apartment. Below is what I have to offer! -Room To Play: I live in a spacious apartment with a huge enclosed patio! Your buddy can catch up on some zzZzz while basking in the sun safely. When it comes to bedtime, my dogs have free range to sleep where they want inside. We have dog beds, doggy blankets...plus your pup is always more than welcome to sleep in bed with me. -1 Guest at a Time: I only watch 1 dog at a time to ensure that your buddy has enough attention. I am always open to watching a pair though if you have two dogs. -1 on 1 Walks: Whenever I have a guest animal I always make sure to give s/he individual attention during 1 on 1 walks. My walks typically last 10-20 minutes 3 times a day. -Daily photos: Leaving a dog can be tough, so I try my best to make the separation easier with daily photos of what your pup is up to! -New Friends: I have 2 mini schnauzers who enjoy meeting new friends, playing, and cuddling. I also have a dog friendly cat. -Constant Supervision: I work from home! So your little buddy will always be supervised. If for whatever reason I need to go run an errand my dog loving boyfriend supervises the dogs. He is just as fantastic with animals and also LOVES dogs. -Adventures!: I'm a very active person. I love going for walks, hikes, and running around the house with my dogs. If your pup is a fan of being active then s/he sounds like the perfect candidate for a walk around Lake Merritt or a daily run around the apartment. -Professional Cuddling: For some reason dogs absolutely love cuddling with me, so if your dog is a love bug they'll be going to the right household. -Puppy care: I understand the importance and patience that goes into watching a young puppy. With that being said I always make sure to give your little one the proper TLC while your away. This includes additional walks, potty training reinforcement, and light obedience! -Car rides!: I like to take my dogs on car rides whenever I can. If your pooch enjoys the wind in their nostrils then they'll love a long ride in our Camry! I'm always very protective of car rides and the window is never cracked more than 5-6 inches.
