We are an animal-loving family that would love to take care of your pet(s) while you are away. We know how hard it is to enjoy yourself when worrying about your furbabies, but we will ease your mind with daily updates and pictures. Our family includes myself (Heather), my partner Crystal, our daughter Addison, our dogs Ziggy and Kaia, our cats Fuzzy and Biggie. Ziggy and Kaia love every dog they meet and do well with dogs of all sizes. Our cats pretty much keep to themselves but are very used to dogs being around. Our daughter is 9 and loves every animal she's ever met. She's very gentle and knows how to respect animals and their needs. Your pet(s) will be treated as one of our own while staying with us. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my entire life. When I was born my mother had a 4 year old dog who was my best friend all through childhood until she had to be put down due to cancer when she was 13. We had 3 dogs throughout my childhood into adulthood. I went about 10 years without a dog because my life was too hectic to devote the kind of time and attention that a dog deserves. This is when I developed my love for cats as well, I couldn't NOT have a pet. I've had a pet my whole life so I adopted my two cats who are now 15 years old. Once I got to a place where I could commit the money and time to a dog I adopted Ziggy who was found on the streets emaciated and suffering from mange. A few years later I started fostering for a local rescue and got a litter of puppies to care for, that was Kaia's litter. I knew there was something about her and she fit in with our family seamlessly so we adopted her. Meet my pets The only other pets we have are two 15 year old cats named Fuzzy and Biggie. They are used to dogs since we have two very active pups so they tend to keep to themselves when they don't want to be bothered. About my yard I have a huge backyard that has a 6 foot wood privacy fence around it. Tons of room to run and play while being very safe. My yard is also treated for mosquitos and fleas so no worries on those little buggers bothering the pups either.
