Information Emma S. would like to know about your pet

Although I do not have any breed preferences, I am going to need to have a thorough understanding of the dog's/pet's temperament as well as if there are needs your pet has that would be considered "special" or "extra". I need to know whether being around other pets is an issue, due to the fact that I currently own both a dog and a cat. I would need to know ahead of time if there is a particular schedule you or the dog would require to be maintained while you are away. Any extra details that you could think of are absolutely going to help in the care of your pet as well as allow me to determine if it is a good fit initially.

A typical day

Ensuring that the pets I watch have an enjoyable and stimulating experience is a top priority. The specific activities will vary based on the pet's preferences, energy levels, and any guidance provided by the owners. Here are some fun activities I may incorporate: Interactive Playtime: Engaging pets in interactive play with toys, such as balls, frisbees, or interactive puzzle toys, to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated. Outdoor Adventures: Taking dogs for walks, hikes, or visits to dog-friendly parks, allowing them to explore new scents and environments while getting their exercise. Cuddling and Bonding: Spending quality time cuddling and providing affectionate attention, especially for pets that thrive on human companionship. Training Sessions: Incorporating positive reinforcement training sessions to keep pets mentally engaged and reinforce good behavior. This can include basic commands or even fun tricks. Treat Time: Introducing special treats or homemade snacks as a reward for good behavior or simply as a delightful surprise. Enrichment Games: Setting up enrichment activities, such as hiding treats for pets to find, creating DIY puzzle feeders, or offering toys that dispense treats during play. Quiet Time: Providing a cozy and comfortable space for pets to relax and unwind, ensuring they have a balance of active play and quiet downtime. Grooming and Pampering: For pets that enjoy it, incorporating grooming sessions with gentle brushing or a relaxing bath, followed by positive reinforcement and treats. Music or TV Time: Playing soothing music or leaving on pet-friendly TV shows designed for their enjoyment can be a calming and entertaining experience. Photography Sessions: Capturing adorable moments through photos or short videos to share with the pet owners, allowing them to feel connected and reassured about their pet's well-being. It's essential to tailor the activities to the individual needs and preferences of each pet, ensuring a well-rounded and enjoyable experience during their time under my care. Regular communication with pet owners helps in understanding the pets' routines and preferences, allowing for a customized approach to fun and engaging activities.

Unfortunately, Emma was not a good fit for our Senior Dog. I did not enjoy my vacation at all because I was so worried about her and the negative feedback Emma was giving me. I sent my sister in law to pick up my dog 2 days early. Even though her bio states that she has "specific experience " in caring for Senior pets, I did not find that to be the case.

Emma is awesome! Our kitty is very shy, but Emma pulled out all the stops to make her feel comfortable. Emma is excellent at communicating, which really eased our minds on vacation!
