Emily T. - Milwaukee Doglover!

My name is Emily, I'm 26 and I'm currently finishing BA's in both Sociology and Social Work. I love dogs of all breeds and I especially love working with energetic, young dogs because I think they're the most fun! (Of course I love older dogs too)! My experience with dogs and dog behavior includes my involvement with the Stevens Point Humane Society as well as my pet sitting experiences. Also, I’ve taken a course in Canine Psychology. I have experience in teaching dogs basic manners as well as potty training. I’ve also been able to work with a variety of breeds, including Staffordshire terriers, spaniels, German Shepherds, Jack Russell Terriers, and Doberman pinschers.

I've always been a dog lover; my first dog was a springer spaniel mix named Sparky. He came running into our yard one 4th of July without any tags and my parents said I could keep him, he was a great first dog and I miss him so much!
I haven't owned a dog in awhile because I'm finishing up college and don't have the time but I definitely seize every opportunity I have to hang out with other peoples' pups! Last summer I dogsat regularly for a Brittany Spaniel named Luke and a mixed breed named Anchor; it was awesome because I LOVE going to the dog park and obviously I can't if I don't have a dog.
Volunteering at the Humane Society has also given me many opportunities to hang out with dogs. I definitely plan on adopting the next time I get a pup!

I'd definitely want to know about any allergies/health concerns that the dog might have; I'd also probably want to hang out with him/her just to get to know their personality before sitting.
I love all breeds!

definitely, I'm completely fine with watering plants/bringing in mail. Also, cats are not a problem, I love them too!

Right now my only obligation is my internship at the State Public Defender, which is only 25 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your puppy!
