Long time animal lover here! I have plenty of experience looking after all types/breeds of animals: dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, some reptiles, etc.
A little about me...
I have an almost blind/deaf elderly pug on heart medication, a bilingual border collie/australian shepard who sometimes has seizures but loves to play... and a crabby long haired tuxedo cat who keeps to herself but secretly loves dogs and will cuddle with them, if no one is watching. I have trained my pets very well and walk them on a regular basis. They eat only healthy foods, sometimes holistic, (when i can afford it).
I am a very responsible person and pet owner, you can trust me with your loved one :) Compensation may be negotiated, especially for multiple days/pets. I prefer to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home, but if your pet is good with other animals...i can make exceptions for their care at my own home. Thank you for your consideration, your pet is in good hands!

My whole life. As a child growing up, my siblings and I were not allowed to have pets because we moved around a lot and also could not afford to. Because of this, my sister and I would visit Humane Societies to see animals and still to this day, stop to pet every dog we see on a walk. When I step into a new home, the first thought on my mind is, "Do they have any pets?" And if that person does have a pet, that is where you'll find me, haha. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own, and if I could care for more in a larger home, I would have many more.

I do not have breed preferences, I love all dogs.

I have a reliable vehicle for transport. My car is 28 years old and is a solid piece of machinery with little to no mechanical problems. Though, it is rear wheel drive, so in the harsh winter months I may not be able to accept requests for pet care that are not within 5 miles from my location.

Yes. I have an elderly pug that has been struggling with medical issues for the past three years. She needs medication in pill form and also syringe by mouth, every 12 hours. Her ears have regular ear washes and cleanings to prevent her chronic ear infections. Her face folds need regular cleaning too, which can be a gross process, so if none of that bothers me...i doubt much will :)

Yes. I am very responsible and can be trusted to do household tasks. I have experience as a personal assistant and great common sense.

If you choose to have your pet cared for in MY home, there will only be an hour or so a day that your companion will be alone. With two responsible people in our household, with opposite schedules, someone is almost always here. If you choose to have your pet cared for in YOUR home, I will make sure I spend a significant amount of time with your companion so they do not become lonely.
