My name is Dylan and I am a professionally experienced, reliable, and attentive pet sitter! I am an art student and writer who is delighted by pets of all kinds! I have been house sitting and caring for pets for three years and have been employed by a premium in-home pet care company, so I am experienced in providing the best possible care for your furry pals while you're away. I adore caring for animals and feel that maintaining their routines while you are away is my most important task, while leaving your home at its absolute best for your return!
My customers are satisfied with my service because of my intentions of respecting their homes, treating their animals with affection and attention, being available for any concerns or check-ins, and maintaining open relationships with them and their pets. Your pet's comfort and happiness is my goal - you know them best!
I am located in downtown Oakland and am willing to serve the Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, and San Francisco areas...as long as I can bike, bus, or BART, I'll be there!
I am currently employed by a dog walking/sitting company in San Francisco, and am excited about having a client base more local to Oakland, where I live!
As an only child, I pleaded my parents to let me get a dog, a request they finally caved to when I turned seven. I enjoyed the rest of my childhood a new best friend, a spunky Westie that I named Sammy. When I got into high school, I began to pet sit in other people's homes to start making money for my college expenses, which led to me working for a premium in-home pet care service when I moved to the Bay area for school. I adore dogs of all sizes and am the go-to dog walker for the busy neighbors in my apartment building!
I request that I know their routine to the amount of specificity which you feel most comfortable. If they have any specific medical needs, dietary restrictions, or physical limitations, I be happy to care for them properly when I am fully aware of their needs!

My general expectation is to spend the evening with them, make sure they receive breakfast, mid-day, and bedtime potty breaks. I am to provide thirty-minute walks on a daily basis. This is the standard I go by, and am flexible with any other instructions as to their outings and visits.
