We're a younger couple, and would love to take your best friend(s) in for a night or two and hang out with them while you're away.

Have owned and taken care of dogs before.

We don't have a puppy of our own because we plan to travel this summer, and would love to bestow our excess love for pets on your dog.

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

We both grew up having dogs in the family, taking care of them, and taking them on walks. We love dogs, and due to our love for travel, haven't found a companion of our own for the time being.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

How the dog behaves with other dogs/cats, if they are prone to following their nose and getting lost/not listening to commands.
If they have any special requirements.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

2 cars both in working condition.

Oral and in food.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

One of us works from home, and will be with the dog at all times. The other gets home around 3pm and will definitely be showing your pup some love.

Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it.

We walk in the nice neighborhood between Shattuck and MLK at 59th street. Dover park is gerat, we also like walking up toward the Berkeley Bowl past/through Bushrod park.

Maya had SO much fun and was a happy, peaceful dog when I returned. They took AWESOME care of her and were absurdly easy to coordinate and schedule with. Also, Dustin was totally easy-going about the fact that my partner, who he'd not met, would be picking up Maya and it was really more like a 4 day stay because Maya was with him until late in evening, all of this was no problem. Basically all was good, smooth and easy about this dog-sitting and allowed me to go on bike tour without anxiety about my girl being uncared for or mistreated or alone too much! Maya is still working on using her voice for good to communicate directly with words to me, so i was unable to ask her, but she seemed well-exercised, well-treated, and well-loved in my absence. This was my first time using Rover, and first time leaving Maya with someone other than friends or family, and it was good as pie... first but not last experience, for sure. thanks! (Collapse)
