Small to medium size dogs are the best fit

I will be on leave returning home to Chicago until January 4th.

I live in a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor. There is green grass to run in outside, and a sliding glass door for the hounds to look out the door. There is a good sidewalk to walk on, I live near the trails at Dash Point State Park as well as a dog park five minutes away.

I helped raise a few dogs when I was younger, but having my own dog really opened up my love for dogs.

As long as the dog is house broken, and can listen and acknowledge when I communicate with him/her there shouldn't be anything else to question.

I work from 7am-4pm. I would walk the dog in the morning before work, let them out as soon as I get home and hourly at night. I like to get the dog outside as much as possible. I like to play on the floor, play fetch all that until we're tired.

No fence. From the door to the bush line is 20 feet or so. It's like that all the way down with not much room to escape if off a leash.

I have a couple options. I have a dog bed they can use if they want, I have two blankets I could wash and let them sleep on, they could sleep under the bed or on a piece of furniture.

I live by Dash Point State Park which has great trails, I also use the Federal Way BPA trail, and there are sidewalks near me that are safe to use.
