Your dog will enjoy their vacation at our home!

We have two smaller dogs in our home now. They are very friendly. We also have two children (13) who love to interact with dogs and take them for walks.
Your dog will have plenty of love and attention while staying at our home.

We live on a large cirlce street that has one way in and out. The only people driving around here live here, so its nice and quiet. There are approximately 55 homes.

This also makes it nice when we go on walks, we just do the circle.

I work from home, so I am here most days. When I am not here, my husband and children are here, so we have plenty of people to keep your pet company.

Everyone in my family has been dog lovers their whole lives. We have always had dogs. We prefer to have more than one dog at a time, so they keep each other company. I have owned a variety of sizes and temperments over the years, so I am no stranger to the shy one, or the one that can have a bad moment. We all have those days.

I would like to know if your pet has aggression issues. Since I also have pets in this home, we need to make sure my dogs are safe. We would also like to know if your pet is fully housetrained. We are not one to panic if there is an accident on the carpet, but we want to know how much we need to keep your pet in our sights, versus letting them be more independent and explore.

We would also like to know if your pet has a chewing issue. This is not a dealbreaker, we just want to know so we can give them more attention and distractions to protect our furniture.

We have no breed preferences. We love them all.

Yes, we have several cars and wonderful vet care nearby, if needed.

Yes, we can administer any type of meds necessary. I have also had to give shots to my dogs before, so when I say this is not an issue, I truly mean it.

I mostly work from home, so I allow all dogs to have free access to the home when I'm here. There are times when I need to make sales calls, but on those days, its generally only for a few hours.

We have a large backyard, full of grass, but it is not fenced. This is why we leash walk all dogs who stay here, even our own. With your permission and your pets good behaviour, we will allow them off the leash to play at their leisure.

This depends on where your dog is used to sleeping. Our dogs sleep with my children in their rooms, sometimes on the bed, sometimes in the chair. Your dog is free to sleep where they are comfortable sleeping. I find when we watch dogs, the dog usually dictates where they want to sleep, and we allow that. If you have a preference, please let me know so we don't instill any bad habits while you are away.

We will walk your dog in our yard, front and back. We also like to walk them around the circle of our street. There is a sidewalk all the way around. There are also other dogs walking around, so there is lots of opportunity for interaction with other dogs and little time for boredom.
