Colleen R. - Loves to walk and play with dogs!

Price is negotiable and I'm willing to travel to Philadelphia or anywhere reachable by public transportation! I absolutely love dogs and genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals. My family has two dogs, one of which I trained myself. The other dog was brought into our house after I went off to school so I didn't get the opportunity to train her. I love taking dogs out for walks, playing with them and giving them affection, so if that's what you're looking for in a dog sitter, please consider me for the job!

I'm also struggling to afford to go back to school come September, so the work will be greatly appreciated and will be taken seriously.

I've always loved dogs. Just seeing a dog walking down the street makes me smile. Until the age of 6 I lived in northeast Philadelphia, and I can clearly remember the rottweiler, Bogey, who would very carefully pull off our socks and shoes right after my mom would put them on to keep my sisters and me from leaving. After moving to New Jersey, we were introduced to a collie/golden retriever mix (absolutely gorgeous!) named Cody who came over and jumped in our blow up pool when the fence wasn't built completely. The next door neighbors got him his own pool, but that didn't keep Cody away. When they moved, I begged my parents for a dog, unfortunately my dad is allergic. Finally in 2006 my parents decided to get a standard poodle who is my best friend. I trained him to not only listen to basic commands such as sit, lay down and to walk on a lead properly, but have also trained him to do a number of tricks, such as to high five, play dead and roll over. Our favorite game is hide and seek.

I would like to know of any special needs the dog has, what the dog likes and doesn't like, the dogs favorite toys and places to be walked, anything that the owner deems important for me to know.

As long as it's shown to me or there are clear instructions.

Of course! Watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out the trash, light cleaning. I also love giving dogs baths!

As much time as you need me to spend, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs so I'm fine with any amount of time.
