Hi, I'm Christian and as my tag states I absoulatly love dogs but don't have one of my own. I have a degree in Math and Science Education and have spent the last 8 years in the education field. Part of the time as a full time teacher and part in early childhood. While working in the early childhood field I started tutoring as well. I am currently a private tutor with students in grades fifth though high school. My tutoring session are primarly in the the late afternoons and evenings so I am home in the mornings and early afternoon. With summer approaching most of my clients will take a break, but some will continue so it is hard to find a summer job when I know I will continue planning my work schedule around my clients schedules. I thought this would be the perfect solution. I plan on taking your dogs for long walks in the morning (I live near Washington Park) and for shorter walks in the evenings when I get home. About this sitter: I spent my childhood in rural South Dakota near the Black Hills. Growing up we always had a dog and a couple of cats. Our dog was definitely part of our family and was wherever we were. I'm a very easy going person and I spend most of my free time reading or listening to NPR. Don't get me wrong I also watch TV shows and movies but we don't have cable. As I have already stated I am a full time private tutor. This usually means I am helping kids with their homework but with some of my clients I am helping them delevope the skills they are lacking. Im telling you this because my full time job requires me to develope a relationship with each of my students and figure out their individual needs in order to help them thirve in their education. I plan on developing a relationship with every dog I take care of so when they see me they are just as excited as my students are when they see me. Also, I'm not just saying this because I would like to watch your dog, but many of my clients have dogs and it really is a toss up every time I walk in the house as to who I greet first, the student or the dog. I know the names of all of my students' dogs and all of the dogs know I'll pet them and give them loves. Meet my pets I live in a condo with a roommate and her son. Between us we have 2 cats and a hamster. The cats are fine with dogs, but I just need to make sure your dog won’t want to get them.
