Hi, I'm Catherine! I know how tough it is to find someone reliable to take care of your pup. Let me help you feel better about leaving your dog with someone while you're away. He or she will basically be spoiled when they stay with my family - me, my husband, our toddler and our dog Cooper (see pics). We live in a house with am unfenced yard at the very end of a culdesac. Weekdays involve scheduled walks and playtime after the work day is done. I work from home so dogs that need a little more attention during the day are no problem! Weekends are usually all about getting outside for a long walk or hike and lots of playtime with me and our dog. If your dog likes to play tug with a rope or play with squeaky toys, Cooper is open to sharing his large bin of every toy a dog could ever want! He is very friendly and gets along with just about any dog, so your dog will have a companion to tell him all about how great it is to stay at our house! Our Golden Retriever, Brixton, loved his stay with Catherine! She sent us fun pictures throughout the weekend and took him on lots of adventures! He loved playing with her dog, Cooper - I could tell he missed Cooper after I picked him up at the end of his stay. It was really nice to know that our pup was in great hands while we were traveling :)
Catherine did a fantastic job with Cutter! She kept us informed while we were gone which allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing Cutter was safe, secure, and getting plenty of exercise. I would highly recommend Catherine and use her services again in the future!

We have a very walkable neighborhood, so weather permitting we are outdoors for at least one walk a day. Our dog Cooper is more than happy to share toys and be a buddy as well.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Our neighborhood is dog friendly. There are plenty of things to see and a fair amount of green space to walk along. On weekdays your dog will get at least one long minimum 30 minute walk. Weekend walks for us are usually closer to 1-1.5 hours. Your dog's sleeping arrangement We try to keep Cooper on the hardwood floor and rug portions of our home - which constitutes about 70% of the house. If your dog has special sleep time needs, I will do my best to accommodate! Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home so I will be with your dog all day, with the exception of running an errand here or there which wouldn't take more than 20 minutes. On a weekday your dog will get a 5-10 minute potty walk in the morning, a 30 minute walk at lunch and at least another walk before bed. Before and after work will be lots of play time and hugs. Weekends basically center around my dog so there is usually a longer walk/excursion involved which generally includes a long game of fetch in a field or at the dog park. Dog parks will only be visited if you're comfortable with that.
