About this sitter: Hello, My name is Brittany Ortiz and i am a college students at CSU studying to become a veterinarian. It brings me joy to work with animals especially dogs and cats. Until I become a vet, i would love working with and caring for animals. It brings me great satisfaction and fulfillment. In previous experience i have assist vet technicians in providing care to animals both complex and simple as showering, feeding and playing. I also obtain experience first hand with my own pets. I have great love and passion for animals. I would love to be at service for you and your pet.

Why I love dog sitting Growing up i was always surrounded by many dogs. My parents had a big yard so we would always have space to welcome new members to our family. Throughout my whole childhood, we had one female American terrier who lived a long and health life. As a child, she was my best friend and we would spend much time together. We would play outside and watch TV together. After she passed away from old age and my parents became too busy to get another dog, i decide to rescue my own. I have always had compassion for dogs and it wasn't till i got the chance to professionally shadow a vet that i knew that this was what i wanted to do for the rest of my life. I enjoy spending my time working with dogs and started volunteering for an organization that takes in elderly dogs.

I am open with breeds. I have worked with mostly every breed from small chihuahua to large pit bulls. I would like to know the dog's likes and dislikes. Is he/she a shy, quiet dog that take time to warm up to people? or Is he/she an friendly dog that doesn't mind warming up quickly to people?

Brittany is very fond of animals. She cares and loves them very much. I know Brittany since she was very little and she has always had a passion for animals in general. Brittany would want to rescue every pet in the street and bring home with her. She has experience caring for pets of her own and others and she volunteer hours at a pet hospital once. She wants to become a vet and I know she will do great at it.
