I have 3 cats. All dogs must pass a meet and greet with my cats before sitting to ensure a fun and safe stay. I also enjoy spending time at off leash dog parks so my furry friends can run and play. I currently work as a nanny during the week and will be away from home between 8-5 most days. My boyfriend is home around 3 so they won’t be alone that whole time. I have also always had cats and love taking care of them too. I am very experienced with caring for both cats and dogs because of this. My dogs were treated as if they are my children. I believe pets should be treated as part of the family. My dogs were allowed on all of the furniture and sleep in bed with us. I have space for one medium to large dog or two small dogs (under 30 lbs). About this sitter: I love playing with dogs and cuddling! My dogs snuggled with me on the couch and even slept under the covers at night! I would love to come to your home to care for your pet where they can be more relaxed while you are away or have them come stay with me. As a previous dog owner myself I realize how much more relaxing it can be as an owner to be away and know your dogs are comfortable in their own home or in a home with plenty of attention. It is less stressful for the dogs than using a kennel and you get photo updates regularly! Some people find it hard to let others into their home and I understand having doubts about it. I am willing to provide character references before a stay if requested. Why I love dog sitting I have had a dog for as long as I can remember until recently and I miss having them around. My parents got me a puppy when I was in kindergarden and we grew up together. Since then we had 3 other dogs while I lived at home and I got my own dog as soon as I was living on my own. Spending the past couple years without a dog in the home has been hard but we can’t afford an fourth pet right now, it wouldn’t be fair to them. About my yard I do not have a yard but I have lots of grassy areas around my complex for walks and it’s a gated community so not a lot of traffic. My experience administering medication My previous dogs received medication daily in pill form. I am willing to administer other medications as well but may require you to demonstrate administration prior to the stay to ensure it is done properly.
