Description:

My house is located on the West Side of Queen Anne Hill on a ~8,500 sf lot. I have a large backyard that is fully fenced in where your puppy can run around and play the day away! The yard is completely fenced in and when they are tuckered out, there is plenty of space to lay out in the sun (when it decides to reveal itself) on my back deck. I have been around dogs my whole life and you can rest assured that they will be in good hands. I have experience with old dogs and young ones, big or small. I currently own a 2 year old Parson Russell Terrier that is the perfect playmate for any dog. I cant wait to lend a helping hand (and home). Please message me to set up a time for a meet & greet so that you and your dog can make sure this is a great fit!

About Bradley S.:

Dogs are the best; I cant get enough of them. I have been around dogs my entire life, so I know the in's and out's of dog sitting for any size, age, or breed of dog. I am a responsible professional who will make sure your dog receives the care it deserves. I am excellent at following directions and will make sure that any specific need or activity that your dog requires will get taken care of. Whether I watch your dog at my house or stay at yours, your pooch will be well taken care of. I am from the Seattle area and have lived here my whole life. I know the city well, especially the best places to take your pup on an adventure. Send me a message (I will get back to you as soon as humanly possible) to set up a time to meet face to face to make sure its a great fit for you and your pup!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

All my life; my family has always owned at least one dog (mostly labs & 1 welsch corgi) and I have just adopted my first dog as well.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

The more an owner can put down on paper or communicate to me, the more comfortable I feel. Here are some typical questions I will ask of a dog owner during a meet and greet:

-Do they get along with other dogs? (most important b/c I have a dog)
-Do they have a regular feeding & bathroom schedule?
-What is their usual routine during the day?
-Do they get agressive or protective over food?
-Do they chew?
-Do they have a favorite toy?
-Any types of toys that are off limits?
-Are they allowed on the furniture?
-Do they use a crate?
-Are there specific things that can trigger anxiety and/or accidents?
-Do they bark at noises/strangers?

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes - I have a reliable SUV

Are you comfortable administering medication?

Yes. As long as I have detailed instructions on how to do so.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

I work during the week (9am-6pm), so my availability to play with your dog would be outside those hours. However, my house is very pet friendly and my dog, Charlie, stays inside most days while I am at work. On the weekends, I will be able to play with your dog around the clock.

If you have a backyard, please describe it.

I have a large backyard. It is completely fenced in and the fence is protected by laurel hedges. The yard is on a slope, but there is a decent sized flat portion of it as well. It is basically a private dog park!

Where will my dog sleep?

My dog, Charlie, sleeps in my bed. I am happy to have your dog on my bed as well, but will cater to whatever method works best for you at your home. I understand that every owner has different training regiments for their dogs when it comes to where they sleep.

Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it.

My neighborhood is very quiet and residential. There are a lot of good trails and stairwells that provide quite a bit of incline on walks. There are also several small dog parks near by.

Bradley S.'s Experience:

I pet-sit my mom's yellow lab (Cody) and chocolate lab (Blake) when she is away for work. I also own a Jack Russell/Fox Terrier mix (Charlie) who is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I am truly a dog lover that can provide a safe, loving environment for your dog while you travel. Having balanced dog care and a job for most of my adult life, I am confident that I can exceed expectations when it comes to the care of your best friend while you are away.

Charlie

Age: 2 years, 6 mo. old
Weight: 19 lbs.
Breed: Fox Terrier (Smooth) & Parson Russell Terrier

Charlie was adopted from a bad situation right around his 1st birthday and is now a happy camper. Charlie is very calm (it's hard to believe, but true) and loves to snuggle. He likes to sleep under the covers either on the bed or on the couch; he will just burrow and sleep there for hours. His favorite game is tug-of-war and he loves to go on walks and run around in open spaces. He is easily entertained and often plays "fetch" with himself by hurling toys across the room and chasing after them.

Ratings

This was my first time using Rover and would recommend the service, and Bradley, to anyone. Bradley was excellent with communication prior to the stay and provided daily updates and pictures. Great, safe and attentive place to leave a pet for an out of town trip, highly recommended!
This was Stella and Lennon's second stay with Brad and they had another great stay! We were put at ease knowing they were in his caring house.

Brad watched Ollie for 2 weeks while my husband and I were on vacation. We got regular updates with pictures of Ollie to ease our worries while we were gone. Brad brought her to work where she played with other dogs and even let her sleep in his bed! I'm sure she felt right at home! I would highly recommend Brad to anyone looking for a dog sitter, and I plan on working with him in the future! (Collapse)

Can't say enough good things about Brad. My beagle always has a blast with Brad and his little buddy Charlie!

Brad did an excellent job taking care of Ollie! His dog Charlie and Ollie got along well. Brad took Ollie to work with him so she could play with other dogs, and was taken on walks daily. Brad sent up picture messages daily to keep us updated! We really enjoyed our experience with that we booked him to watch Ollie for another 2 weeks!
If you are looking for someone who communicates well, friendly, has a lot of dog knowledge and know how, receptive, reasonably priced, has a nice yard for your pup, has a playmate for your pup as well, and overall just a great dog sitter -- well, Brad is your guy! We definitely recommend him for your dog sitting needs.

Bradley was amazing with our two dogs. One is a frail older dog and the other a high energy puppy. He met both their needs beautifully. Our puppy got more exercise than he's probably had in the past month.

Roman always has a blast with Brad and Charlie when I have to travel for work. The new GPS activity tracker is hilarious - Roman likes his rest:) If you have to leave your dog behind on your travels, Bradley is an awesome option and will give you the peace of mind you need to enjoy your time away.

Bradley and his housemates did a great job with our dog - who can be very nervous in unfamiliar places. Bradley showed great understanding with our pup, and his lifetime experience with dogs really came through. We'll use Brad again!

As usual, Artoo had a great time, and we found it very convenient!

Brad is awesome! Reliable, responsible, easy going, and fun. Archie stayed with Brad for 2 1/2 weeks, a long time to leave your "kid" with someone you don't know very well! I was super lucky to find Brad. He sent plenty of updates and photos so I knew Archie was doing great the whole time. I never once felt I had to worry about him. Brad also has some roomates who were just as nice and friendly towards both me and Archie. I can tell you that dog did not want for either human or canine company! He had a blast! (Collapse)

We were so happy with our experience when our dog stayed with Brad. He was prompt in responding to our texts and sent us plenty of pic texts, which we loved getting! We will definitely use Brad for our next sitting!
December 7
As usual, Brad and his roommate provided Artoo with excellent care. Artoo loves staying over at their place.

Brad did an awesome job taking care of Kimmy. He responded back very quickly and gave constant updates, with pictures! Kimmy is typically timid around strangers but by the time we picked her up, she looked like she felt right at home playing with Charlie and Brad. He was great working around our odd schedule and keeping it flexible. Kimmy will definitely be a repeat visitor!

Molly always has a great time here; and we always feel well informed on how she's doing. Highly recommended.

I couldn't ask for a more compassionate, caring, honest and trustworthy dog sitter than Brad. I think my dogs would rather be living with him, the way they react when he comes to take care of them. Highly recommended.
October 23
Cody had a great time and was well taken care of. Brad goes above and beyond and even took Cody with him to work. Would highly recommend

Bradley was great! He really went above and beyond by taking Wesley to work with him (along with his dog Charlie) and sending me picture/text updates throughout the day. From his co-workers to roomates he had constant attention and love, so much so he almost didn't want to come home! :) I would recommend Brad to anyone and will definitely use him again.

Brad and his Jack Russel, Charlie, were great hosts for Ted's long weekend stay. This was Ted's first time sharing a home with another dog, his hosts could not have been more kind and understanding. Charlie is a very lucky dog to have such a wonderful owner.

Brad obviously knows how to take care of dogs. The booking experience, dropoff and pickup were very easy. My dog seemed to have a great time there. When he was being dropped off, he made a bee-line for the front door, eager to get in.

We love brad and he took such great care of us. We got lots of running around play time, snuggles on the couch, and he even sent pictures to our mom and dad so they knew we were ok. can't wait to come stay again!!! love, stella and lennon
Brad and his dog Charlie took brilliant care of Lucy during her stay. We received updates and pictures and Lucy even developed a little crush on Charlie. Thank you to Brad and his entire household for giving Lucy a fun vacation while we enjoyed ours!
My dog came home happy and tired - she had a great time and was very well taken care of. Highly recommend.
Brad did a fantastic job taking care of Blizzard while I was out of town. He made me feel very comfortable that Bliz was in good hands and sent updates throughout the weekend. He has experience taking care of older dogs, which was a big plus for me. His home has a wonderful big yard that any dog would love to hang out in. Bliz even got to go into work with him, which is very cool. Everything went smoothly, I couldn't ask for more. :) (Collapse)

Bradley is a natural around dogs. Both my labradors are so happy to see him and they get tender loving care. I think they get spoiled when Bradley takes care of them, as they always look so sad when he leaves. Bradley is honest, trustworthy, kind, and responsible. I highly recommend him.

Brad did an awesome job of taking care of our dog Sunny! He's very receptive and friendly. He also has his own small dog in the house, Charlie, who played really well with Sunny. They had a lot of fun together and it was nice for Sunny to have a playmate. Brad is reasonably priced and he has a lot of knowledge of how to care for a dog. His home offers a great environment for a dog (i.e. big yard) as well. We wholeheartedly recommend Brad if you ever need a dog sitter! (Collapse)
