My house is located on the West Side of Queen Anne Hill on a ~8,500 sf lot. I have a large backyard that is fully fenced in where your puppy can run around and play the day away! The yard is completely fenced in and when they are tuckered out, there is plenty of space to lay out in the sun (when it decides to reveal itself) on my back deck. I have been around dogs my whole life and you can rest assured that they will be in good hands. I have experience with old dogs and young ones, big or small. I currently own a 2 year old Parson Russell Terrier that is the perfect playmate for any dog. I cant wait to lend a helping hand (and home). Please message me to set up a time for a meet & greet so that you and your dog can make sure this is a great fit!
Dogs are the best; I cant get enough of them. I have been around dogs my entire life, so I know the in's and out's of dog sitting for any size, age, or breed of dog. I am a responsible professional who will make sure your dog receives the care it deserves. I am excellent at following directions and will make sure that any specific need or activity that your dog requires will get taken care of. Whether I watch your dog at my house or stay at yours, your pooch will be well taken care of. I am from the Seattle area and have lived here my whole life. I know the city well, especially the best places to take your pup on an adventure. Send me a message (I will get back to you as soon as humanly possible) to set up a time to meet face to face to make sure its a great fit for you and your pup!
All my life; my family has always owned at least one dog (mostly labs & 1 welsch corgi) and I have just adopted my first dog as well.
The more an owner can put down on paper or communicate to me, the more comfortable I feel. Here are some typical questions I will ask of a dog owner during a meet and greet:
-Do they get along with other dogs? (most important b/c I have a dog)
-Do they have a regular feeding & bathroom schedule?
-What is their usual routine during the day?
-Do they get agressive or protective over food?
-Do they chew?
-Do they have a favorite toy?
-Any types of toys that are off limits?
-Are they allowed on the furniture?
-Do they use a crate?
-Are there specific things that can trigger anxiety and/or accidents?
-Do they bark at noises/strangers?
Yes - I have a reliable SUV
Yes. As long as I have detailed instructions on how to do so.
I work during the week (9am-6pm), so my availability to play with your dog would be outside those hours. However, my house is very pet friendly and my dog, Charlie, stays inside most days while I am at work. On the weekends, I will be able to play with your dog around the clock.
I have a large backyard. It is completely fenced in and the fence is protected by laurel hedges. The yard is on a slope, but there is a decent sized flat portion of it as well. It is basically a private dog park!
My dog, Charlie, sleeps in my bed. I am happy to have your dog on my bed as well, but will cater to whatever method works best for you at your home. I understand that every owner has different training regiments for their dogs when it comes to where they sleep.
My neighborhood is very quiet and residential. There are a lot of good trails and stairwells that provide quite a bit of incline on walks. There are also several small dog parks near by.

I pet-sit my mom's yellow lab (Cody) and chocolate lab (Blake) when she is away for work. I also own a Jack Russell/Fox Terrier mix (Charlie) who is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I am truly a dog lover that can provide a safe, loving environment for your dog while you travel. Having balanced dog care and a job for most of my adult life, I am confident that I can exceed expectations when it comes to the care of your best friend while you are away.

Charlie was adopted from a bad situation right around his 1st birthday and is now a happy camper. Charlie is very calm (it's hard to believe, but true) and loves to snuggle. He likes to sleep under the covers either on the bed or on the couch; he will just burrow and sleep there for hours. His favorite game is tug-of-war and he loves to go on walks and run around in open spaces. He is easily entertained and often plays "fetch" with himself by hurling toys across the room and chasing after them.
