Pet care experience
Hello! I am 54 and retired in 2021 after 28 years of state government employment. I am a big animal lover and as an avid traveler and previous pet owner, I know first hand the importance of stress-free trips and not having to worry about if my pets and home are being well taken care of. I previously volunteered at Paws & Claws Animal Rescue of Quay County, New Mexico, where I walked and feed rescues, cleaned kennels, administered medications as needed, and helped with the general upkeep of the rescue center. I have a green thumb, am very low key, keep mostly to myself, am a non-smoker, love to hike and the outdoors, and am very neat/tidy. When I am not traveling myself, I am in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I now house/pet sit. Since I love nature and hiking, sits near hiking trails are an added bonus. I’m primarily interested in sits in or within 30 miles of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

As always, Mia had a great stay getting lots of love and attention! Bill got some great pics of her, too!!! He is the BEST pet sitter around and the bonus is having his son around to give Mia even more attention! :)
Bill was great. He deserves 5 stars+. He was wonderful with our dog. He kept us informed about how she was doing, and he was very responsive to any questions we had. He has a big heart and is a natural with animals. We will call him whenever we need a caring dog sitter.

I am retired and am available to pet sit in your home when I am not traveling myself. My schedule is open and I my schedule outside of the home would be mostly to the gym or yoga classes.
