Rittenhouse Doggie Vacation Home!

When your dog stays with us they will feel like THEY are the one on vacation! The price is negotiable depending on your dog. Our open, spacious apartment is located in beautiful Rittenhouse Square and comes with a relaxing back yard oasis, perfect for your pooch to catch some rays this summer. Our guests are walked at least 3 times a day and can visit the dog park around the corner for some off-leash action! After a long day, your dog will relax into the finest bedding in the city, or you can bring your own bed/crate for him/her. We can accommodate all special requests including administering medicine and dietary restrictions. We truly want your dog to have the best possible experience while they are away from home as possible. This means we try to mimic your home environment and routine as much as possible. We only watch one dog at a time (two if they are small and family members) so your pooch will have our individual attention throughout their stay with us.

I love to run and walk outdoors, so you can be certain your dog will have exercise while he/she is here. I do not have any children, so your dog will have my undivided attention and love. I am a dog owner so I understand how important it is to have a dogsitter you can trust. It is not easy to leave your pets with someone new and I will do my best to make the experience as pleasant as possible for you and your dog. I can provide you with daily email updates on your pet's experience with us and accommodate almost any request you have for your dog. If your dog has special needs, a restricted diet, or medication administered we can handle all of that too. I will treat your dog as good as my own and she is pretty spoiled! I have been a dog lover all of my life. I grew up with a dog in my home and I have worked in the pet industry in the past. I have a dog now, she is 6 years old and I treat her as though she is a part of my family. She gets more love and kisses than most people I know! I feed her only the best food and I take her for walks every day for 30 minutes or more. She is very well-behaved and follows my commands.

Before sitting for a dog I would like to know if they are aggressive at all, what special needs they might have and most importantly how you want your dog to be cared for in your absence. I like to have clear instructions from the owner as to what they expect from me as their dog sitter and we can talk through all of the details.

I do have a car in the city, and it has room for dogs. I can pick your pet up or drop them off if need be. My car is a 2011 so practically new and very reliable.

I am comfortable administering medication as long as the dog is comfortable with me giving it to him/her.

Most of the day I will be with your dog. I work a few days of the week, part-time, and when I'm dog sitting I make sure I spend my free time with your dog either at home, at the park, or walking outside.

We have a walled in backyard which is great because it is a private space for your pets to go outside and get some fresh air. The walls are 8 feet high so your dog will not be able to jump over or get out of the yard.

We can provide luxurious, soft, comfortable bedding for your dog, or you can bring your own bed for your dog. If your dog normally sleeps in a crate, we ask that you bring that along with you so they can feel at home and relaxed.

We live in Rittenhouse Square, so your dog will be walked throughout the city and in the parks nearby. There is also a dog park about 10 blocks away so if your dog is friendly and enjoys time with other dogs, we can talk about visits to the dog park.
