Hi! I'm Ariel and I am 25 years-old living in Hoboken, NJ with my boyfriend, Craig. I have been an animal lover (primarily dogs) since I was a small child and we cannot wait until we can afford to care for a dog of our own. The best part of living in Hoboken and working in NYC is seeing all the different breeds and personalities of pups being walked. I have tons of previous experience dog sitting for Craig's sister's dog (my furry nephew, Eli...he's a mutt) and my neighbor's dog, Penny (she's a Pom). I am dedicated, loyal and honest and would love the opportunity to care and look after your furry family member!

When I first met Ariel in 2007 during our freshman year of college, we instantly clicked. From the start, I could tell she was an all-around fun, caring and supportive person. Over the years, Ariel and I have become even closer friends and although we live hours apart, it doesn’t stop us from being involved in each others lives. Not only is Ariel a people person and can get along with anyone, she LOVES animals. She may even have more Instagram pictures of her pets than people! Dog sitting isn’t a chore for Ariel, she loves spending time with animals and frequently dog sits her boyfriends’ sisters’ dog. Sometimes it's for a couple hours, while other times it's an overnight visit. With this experience already under her belt, she will be the perfect one to call when in need of a sitter. Both Rover.com and dog owners will find a trusted, responsible and loving sitter in, Ariel.
Ariel is one of the warmest people I know with a real knack for providing comfort. She's warm, caring and loving, and my shih tzu Peri literally goes crazy with excitement whenever Ariel comes over. Ariel has a natural maternal instinct that makes everyone (human or furry friend) feel completely taken care of when she's around.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks My favorite place to walk the dogs that I care for is on the walking path by the water. The view is beautiful, there are large grassy spots to run around as well as many other dogs to meet and greet! I also live on a quiet block so if your dog is a shy pup, we can always stroll down there! Your dog's sleeping arrangement If your dog is comfortable and prefers sleeping in bed, I wouldn't mind snuggling with the lil fella. I also have a very large, plush couch with tons of pillows and blankets. Basically, wherever your dog wants to sleep...that's where he/she will sleep. Time I'll spend with your dog AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I always say that the day I get a dog of my own, I will take a week off work because I won't want to spend a moment without him/her!
