I love dogs and I have been pet sitting through Rover on and off for almost 10 years. I also have volunteered with 2nd Chances, a wonderful group of people that rescues dogs off the street and puts them in a loving home. I want to continue taking care of dogs and I look forward to taking care of your dog! Between my husband and I, we are available 24/7 to watch your fur babies. On top of watching dogs, I also go above and beyond if I can. For example, if there is a bunch of dog hair everywhere, I will vacuum before I leave or if you left dishes in the sink, I will clean them. I do my best to make sure that when you come back from vacation, you get to relax when you get home. About this sitter: Sometimes you might feel like your dog will feel better while you are gone if they are in familiar surroundings. That is just fine! I will be happy to travel to your house and take care of your dog to your requirements. I can come over twice a day. In addition, I am very responsible and will leave your house in the same condition I came to it in. I respond quickly to your requests whether I can help you or not so you have more time to make decisions. In the past, I have mostly experience as a traveling care provider for cats. I would go to my friends' house twice a day and feed their cats as well as clean their litter box. For my boss' cats, I stayed at his house and when he got back, he said that there was very little evidence that I had even stayed there since I kept it so clean and that they could tell I had given them lots of love and attention because the cats now expect lots of love and attention. Through Rover, I have gotten the chance to experience traveling dog sitting and I took notes and did everything the doggy parents wanted and stayed for a bit to pet and love on the dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover. I first baby sat a dog who was 15 years old so he was very calm and that made me love dogs. The next dog liked to jump all over the place and had a lot of energy which I loved too. I have experienced the many different personalities of dogs! I love needy dogs because I like the company and giving lots of belly rubs.
