Warm, snuggly, dog-loving home in Queen Anne

Pet care experience

We are an active, professional couple with busy work schedules so unfortunately do not have the time to devote to a fulltime pet of our own. For shorter periods we would love to host a dog (or cat!)- and would enjoying playing, walking around town and the city parks in our very walkable neighborhood, and snuggling on cool fall and winter nights. We have our own house but no real backyard so smaller dogs preferred. House-training required. We have no current pets in our home. We prefer smaller, quieter (not big barkers) dogs due to our living situation who want to play, cuddle and be loved and sniff around the neighborhood. I come from a home with 3 small dogs so have plenty of experience and have dog and cat sitted multiple times in the past. I miss my family dogs dearly and would love to share my love with your dog! About this sitter: Professional, responsible couple unable to have a fulltime dog of their own due to work schedules but would love to babysit one for shorter periods! Why I love dog sitting All my life. I grew up with 3 chinese crested dogs (and 2 turtles, 1 blind lizard) and miss them dearly now that I have moved across the county. I wish I had time for a dog full time now but getting to babysit different dogs is almost as good! I have babysat multiple different cats and dogs. Meet my pets None About my yard Patio with fence, no backyard, so would walk the dogs on a leash in a very walkable neighborhood with multiple parks

Anne was AWESOME! Our dog had never been away from us for more than 48 hours and I could not have asked for a better sitter. Anne sent pictures and updates while we were gone which definitely put us at ease knowing Lola (our dog) was having a good time. I highly recommend booking with Anne for your four legged friend!

From the minute we had our meet and greet, Chloe made herself right at home. You'd think she lived there. That was good sign number one knowing my dog was instantly comfortable. I love getting picture updates, which Anna was great about it! I will definitely book with her again!!!!!

We're lucky to have found Anna to care for our pomeranian, Fox, while we were away for a week! Anna responded to my initial request within hours and we were able to set up a meet and greet that same day. Anna was nice, friendly, and just easy to talk to. She was kind to offer to pick up Fox from our place which was much appreciated. Being away for several days, it was great getting a message/picture from her every day letting us know how Fox is doing. Fox looked happy in the pictures and seemed to enjoy her company, which is a great relief for us! I highly recommend Anna and we will most definitely call her again for future dog-sitting needs!

Information Anna H. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know about their personality- what their favorite things to do, what makes them feel safe, and what makes them nervous (to avoid). I know dogs love schedules so I find it best to stick to theirs to keep them feeling comfortable in a new home. I prefer small-medium breeds as I do not have a fenced in yard. They must be house-trained but crate-training is not necessary. Loving to be pet and to snuggle in bed is a plus.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Around our beautiful, quiet neighborhood for shorter walkers, to local parks and larger parks for extended periods of activity. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever he/she wants. His bed or ours. Time I'll spend with your dog The entire day, with exceptions of doing out to do quick errands (grocery store) where dogs would not be allowed.
