Wiggles and love are exactly how your pup will feel when they see me! I'm a well-established and responsible newly empty nester with a husband and two silly pugs at home. Two young adults are around holidays and summer (usually). I work from home, my schedule is flexible, and I do this for a little extra fun $$. I'm fully background checked with all licenses, permits, and insurance. Your furry family member will be as excited to see me as I am when we see each other. I've previously fostered with a local rescue group and have had my own senior pups with some health issues, so I'm not new to most anxiety and/or age-related issues. I'm able to handle most medical needs including injections, topical and oral medications, and I have experience with many different medical and health needs: eyes, ears, age-related, allergies, seizures, diabetes, etc. I’m calm and easy going but very responsible. Your pet's health and safety are my number one priority. My goal is for you to feel as comfortable as possible leaving your pet in my care. I have all licenses, permits, and insurance required and get annual inspections from Multnomah County Animal Services. (see pictures) I require proof of current vaccine history as well as flea & tick coverage. I also provide drop in services to your home if that's more comfortable for you. Until a new pup is comfortable in my home, I attach a GPS locator to their collar while they're here to ensure an extra layer of safety. I've always been drawn to pups and have a close connection and communication with them. I grew up with all sorts of animals, but mostly dogs and cars. I used to beg my parents to let me take in any stray or hurt living thing to nurture and care for it. We used to be a foster family for a local rescue group, and I have been taking care of friends and family pets for many years.
