I know how difficult it is to take pets on vacation, because of this I would love to watch your dog for a night, weekend, or week. All I ask is that the Dog is potty trained and will not be aggressive with our Dog (Medium sized shepherd-Remmy) or Cat (Klee). I do house calls if you pup prefers the comfort of their own home. I have a home a block away from a wonderful park which is GREAT for walking dogs. I also live 2 miles from a local dog park, veterinarian, and Petco. Anything your pet needs is within a short driving distance. I will provide walks, play fetch, Frisbee, and or just sit and cuddle with your pet. I will base my care on your dogs needs and personality. My yard is not fully fenced but I do offer a lead for your dog to roam the yard, I never leave a pet unattended in the yard and I will never walk your dog without its leash or harness. I have owned dogs my entire life and always intend to. I know people are busy and family emergencies arise, this can make needing a sitter an emergency. I try to respond to all requests within 4 hours to ensure that if there is an emergency your pet is not left stranded. I always send pictures of my stays and I always take the pets on at least 2 long walks a day (unless medical or age restrictions apply to your pup). I have had animals in my home my entire life and have volunteered at the human society for over 5 years. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover. The only time there was not a dog in my home was during college. I have lived with toy dogs and giant dogs alike and love them all. Meet my pets My house is a two bedroom cape cod, with a basement and loft upstairs. If your dog visits he or she is free to roam the houses main floor. The upstairs is gated by a baby fence so that the cat is allotted appropriate privacy, and the basement is used for storage. About my yard I have a partially fenced in yard. I do have a lead in which the dog can play in the yard. My experience administering medication I am fine with pills, flea prevention (topical application), and other like treatments. I would not be comfortable giving a pet shots.
