I love animals of all kinds, and love to provide for them in need. Whether you're gone all day and just need someone to take them for an afternoon walk, or gone for a week and need someone to love them in the lowest-stress way, I would love to help out! I grew up around Poodles, but pretty much love any creature with four legs. I'm level-headed and neat, eager to do a good job and set an owner's mind at ease in the care of their beloved pet. I'm in the catering/restaurant business, and have passed numerous drug and background checks, so rest assured that I'm a reliable person.
I am also happy to help keep on eye on your home, like bringing in the mail and garbage cans, keeping plants watered, maybe even mowing the lawn if I'm not afraid of your machine!
I do not smoke or do drugs and have no criminal background. I also have a clean driving record and no interest in using a private home as a party location.
I have often been called a pet whisperer, walking into a house with an aloof pet who will come over and demand my lap and belly scratches. I know how to keep animals calm and make them feel comfortable with my presence.
I'm no good with spiders, but am comfortable caring for fish, cats, birds, snakes and rodents. I have no serious experience with more farm oriented animals, but would love to learn!
I recently completed my PetTech CPR & First Aid training, which focuses on dog and cat first aid and emergency response. In the event that something were to happen, I can keep a cool head and help the situation before traveling to the Vet.
My overnight rate starts at $40, but may change due to circumstance. If I have to travel far, or have extensive duties, the rate may go up. If there are multiple pets, the rate will go down. If there is a low maintenance pet as an add-on to the main pet I'm caring for (reptile, aloof cat), the rate goes down more.
Since I can remember, I've loved animals. We always had pets growing up, and my brother and I were always part of the training process for new ones, whether it was potty training or house rules. I believe in positive reinforcement and a smothering of kisses!
I would like to know what they like, as in walks vs. jogs, ball throwing vs. tug of war, and belly scratches vs. ear scratches. It's good to know the basic likes of an animal, and what their routines are, to keep their stress level down. Also need to know if they take medication, and what that routine entails.
I do have a reliable four door car that any pet would be welcome to ride in.
Although I have no experience in doing home-injections, I can do topical applications and pilling with confidence.
Absolutely!
It really depends on the needs of the pets, but obviously I'm looking to keep the stress level of your animal down while you're away.
