Amber S. - Pampering Gal who Treats Dogs as my Own

I am a single 28-year-old, who has never been married and doesn't currently have children. I have a long haired chihuahua that I treat as my son, because those that don't have children tend to do that! My former chihuahua was my best friend!! I would love the chance to interact with other breeds of dogs, so that's why I'm here.

I got my first dog when I was a senior in high school almost 12 years ago. I have owned only chihuahuas, but my ex had 2 pitbulls. Being around his pits, Tank & Cruz, totally changed my perception on this breed. It's all on how the owner raises them. They were the sweetest dogs, and got along with my chihuahuas. That's when my interest in other breeds came about.

I would want to know their behavior patterns, how they eat their meals, are they house broken, do they need to be supervised when let out, are there any medications that need to be given?

Yes, always.

Absolutely. My dad and step mom have a family of dogs, and certain ones need a different kind of medication.

That depends on what the home life is like. If they are used to a lot of attention, then that's what they will get. I am there to dog sit, and that's exactly what will occur. I love animals, and this gives me the opportunity to be around them more!
