To be fair to your pooch, I prefer to keep them at your home where they are comfortable. I have a small yard, so exceptions can be made with small dogs to stay with me and my two boxers (both are almost 4 years old and very sweet). In that instant the little boy puppy claimed me and I had to have him. That's how I ended up with two silly, playful, and snuggly boxers. Ever since then I can't imagine not having my sweet pups.
