Description:

My boyfriend Michael and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment across the street from Boeing. A huge trail is nearby and we take long walks along the river. I am very clean, my Boston Terrier is crate trained and sleeps on the bed with me, so your pup can too!

I actively attend Boston Terrier Meetups and understand all areas of pet ownership. My goal is to make sure your dog enjoys their stay away from home and is as comfortable as possible. I will maintain any schedules you have and will make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart.

I work during the day and have a 14 pound Boston Terrier. If your dog is well behaved, I can bring them to work with me. I graduated with a degree in Interior Studies, but have found my true calling is with pets. My boyfriend and I like to stay as active as possible with Gus and enjoy letting Gus play with kids and other dogs as often as possible.

About Amber C.:

I am very crafty, make cupcakes for weddings, and love lazy days when I can watch a movie snuggled up to my little pup. I would love to get another dog at some point and would be happy to watch your loved one while you are away.

For Traveling sitting, I prefer to stay at your home instead of doing drop in visits. I am neat and will respect your property while in your home. I like to bring my dog with me when doing Traveling sitting, but have the option to leave him home if you prefer. I always like to do meet and greets beforehand to come to your home, meet you and the dog(s) and answer any questions you may have.

Once the stay begins, I have made custom tags that have my contact information on them and will attach one to your dogs ID tag. I also have a Help4Pets tag that will be attached to your dogs collar.

I have loved dogs since my first dog. After getting my own dog though, I have really bonded with my Boston and am having a completely different experience this time around.

Your dog can sleep wherever it chooses! Whether that be on my bed, or in their crate I want to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

Amber C.'s Experience:

I grew up with a Beagle named Snickers, and am currently around my parents Great Dane/Pitbull Mix named Odie. My sister has a German Shepard mix named Tilly who has pretty much taken on the mother role to Gus. Gus man is the smallest dog I have had and is the perfect size for me.

I can't say enough about Gus and Amber. I feel so comfortable being away from home, knowing that they are hanging out with my dog. I'm pretty sure he has more fun with them!!! This was my first time using Rover but certainly not the last thanks to Amber. When I approached her about taking care of my dog, I had a special request which I thought would make most people turn me down but Amber was super nice and helpful about it. At one point we had a misunderstanding on my part and she was able to resolve the situation without me having to interfere which was awesome since I was on the other side of the planet at the moment. This was our first time having Amber dog sit. We loved her. She was awesome. I feel like she took great care of Zima. Amber is very caring and knows what she is doing. Amber was great with communication and daily pictures. I would recommend her paws down.

I am always careful about who takes care of our two Boston's when my husband and I go out of town. Normally family can take them but it didn't work out for our trip in April...I had to find another sitter. A friend of mine told me about the rover.com website and I was thrilled to find Amber who lives close by and also has a Boston Terrier. I always have some anxiety when I leave the dogs with anyone but Amber made it really easy. She had a meet-and-greet with us and the dogs to make sure everyone got along. No problem there. It was obvious that Amber loves dogs and knows a lot about them. She also picked up the dogs, their crates, food and toys at our house so it was really convenient. Everyday while we were gone we would get pictures of the dogs on our phones using the rover.com app which made us feel a lot better. She took them to work and the dog park as well as the walking trails around her house. When we got back home, Amber dropped off the dogs and their accoutrements exactly on time. I would highly recommend Amber's services. The dogs had a great time I'm sure:) and we had a relaxing vacation. (Collapse)

We had a wonderful experience with Amber and Gus. She came over prior to her stay to meet us and our two greyhounds, and from our first impression I knew our dogs would be in good care. Amber sent us photos and updates regularly. When we arrived home, our dogs were relaxed and seemed like they could have cared less that we were away. Amber was amazing with Sophie. Sophie is very shy and gets extreme separation anxiety and Amber was great with her. She had her dog Gus with her and it gave Sophie a companion for the week. She kept me up to date and was there every time I had a question or called/texted her. She sent pictures throughout the week and even cooked Sophie meals when she wasn't eating due to us being gone. I would recommend her to anyone I knew looking for a sitter. She wasn't just a sitter to Sophie, she really was a friend and caretaker :) I will definitely be contacting Amber in the future for sits! Amber and Mike were GREAT with my dogs! My guys had tons of fun and probably had a more relaxing vacation than we did. Amber and Mike even went the extra mile and dropped us off and picked us up at the airport with dog in tow. This is the second week long stay that Amber watched Fergi, my Welsch Corgi. I couldn't be with him enough due to work obligations. She did such an amazing again. plenty of photos. I was worried he wouldn't want to come home! i think he slept all weekend, due to so much play time! I've never seen him so happy! :)

Amber took care of my Corgie, Fergie while i had to spend two long weeks in the office. Not only did Fergie get attention while i was at the office, he got more play time, dog socialization than i could give even give him on a normal work week. Amber brought him to work where he played with other puppies all day, which wore him out for the evening. I recieved so many awesome photos from Amber which kept me up-to-date. Amber also took him to a holiday dog parade where he, and two other dogs won best group! Fergie was a reindeer. Thank you so much Amber. i couldn't have done it without you! (Collapse)

What a treat! Amber took my dog, Squish, with her to the Christmas tree farm. She even let him order coffee at the drive-thru. Squish had an excellent time and came home with a special treat. We will continue to book Amber when we need a sitter. We know Squish can't wait for us to head out of town again so he can hang with Amber and Gus.

We had such a great experience leaving our pup, Sophie, in Amber's excellent care. It was so nice to do a meet & greet before we left for our trip to make sure Sophie would be comfortable in her new environment. Amber is very quick to respond to e-mails and she sent us numerous photos & daily updates during our 5 day trip. We will definitely be using Amber again in the very near future!!

My dog, Zoe, is my world. I had never left her until I learned that I would be traveling out of country for two weeks and unlike most trips, she would not be able to come along. I started looking for a solution that would make this easier. Zoe is extremely bonded to me. I started making calls and introductions. Amber came to me through referral and I have never been so lucky. She is unbelievable in the time and care she gives to the animals that are lucky enough to come under her care. She takes time to help them transition to being away from their families. She feeds on the schedule set forth by the owner. Zoe was even able to go to work with her. She has a wonderful friendly playmate in Gus for your pet. I received daily updates which lowered my anxiety level. Pictures of Zoe having fun made my day. I returned and while she was so happy to see me I saw none of the weight loss or hard signs of separation. She loved her stay. Her weight and schedule was maintained and I could tell she was loved! Words can not express just how positive Amber made my experience. She is now the only person that comes to mind when I think of the perfect care for my four legged baby in my absence. Amber cared for our two dogs, Langley and Lucy, in our home. She stayed there, so we got a house sitter and a dog sitter in one! Amber loved our dogs like they were her own, and even took them to the pumpkin patch, which made for a great photo we forwarded to all of our friends and family! We never worried for one moment while we were gone because Amber made us feel so secure, sending pictures and little notes telling us how Lang and Lucy were doing. When we got home, Amber had baked treats for the dogs, and for us, cleaned the house and left a little note welcoming us back. We have already booked Amber again for our next vacation! (Collapse)

Amber's awesomeness is not just my opinion -- my 9 year old Dachshund, Maggie, thinks she's pretty special too. Amber took care of Maggie for 10 days and during my absence sent me pictures and updates. When I got home although Maggie was happy to see me she wasn't needy and clingy like she normally is after I've returned from a trip.
