Hello, my name is Amanda. I returned from Denver, CO two years ago where I was the Assistant Manager of a large doggy daycare and boarding facility, so I have experience with just about every breed and temperament. I have a border collie mix who I spend most of my free time with playing frisbee, walking, running, camping, and hiking. I am also a volunteer at the Indy Humane Society where I work with dogs that are still under evaluation or just need a little brushing up on their social skills. I am now a behavioral therapist for children with autism, but I greatly miss spending my time with dogs.
I have been a dog lover my entire life. I grew up with dogs, and they are my absolute passion.
I would just like to know if they have any special needs or quirks. They will also need to be good with other dogs since I have a dog of my own.
Yes, I have a Subaru Outback wagon, which has probably had more dogs in it than people.
I work full-time Monday through Friday, but am frequently able to come home for lunch. I am usually home by 5:30 at the latest everyday.
If your dog is a hiker a trip to Ft. Harrison State Park or Eagle Creek is always a possibility... otherwise, around the neighborhood.
