I understand what it means to have a dog with specific needs, such as dietary or exercise restrictions, and have experience with complicated feeding/medication schedules. I absolutely adore animals, and will shower yours with as much attention as I give my own furry friend, Duke! If you would like, I would be happy to bring your baby on a nice long (or short) hike with me! Dog park? Fetch for hours? Sounds like fun! And yes, I would be happy to schedule Face-time or Skype calls so you can say hello...nothing better than getting to see your dog when you're feeling homesick ;)

I live a very active lifestyle and usually bring my dog everywhere with me. I am currently a college student working freelance from home, so I have a lot of flexibility to go on adventures and would love the extra four-legged company for myself and Duke. Once you meet me I know you will feel comfortable having me care for your very important friend!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

Ever since I knew what a dog was I felt a special connection with them. I don't think there is anything else quite like the relationships we have with dogs...

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

I would want to know as much as possible! Mostly because it's fun getting to hear people go on about their dogs - such personalities!

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes, I have my own car and access to multiple backups if needed; as well as people that can cover me if any emergencies come up.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

Yes

Are you willing to do additional tasks at my home while I'm away
(e.g., water plants, bring in the mail)?

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

At least an hour, more depending on need, distance, extent of period, etc.

Alexis did a great job watching our dog while we were gone. She stayed at our home and brought our dog to hers as well to make sure our dog was well cared-for and had company. Alexis was also great with communicating with us while we were gone via rover.com updates, text message updates and pictures. We would highly recommend her.

Alexis was great. She came by our place numerous times to look after our Morgan, and sent us text messages to make sure everything was ok. We will definitely rebook with Alexis again.

Alexis is an amazing person and took great care of my boy on very short notice when I went home for the holidays. I had someone cancel 3 days before I was supposed to leave and found Alexis. She was timely and prompt for her "interview" and after meeting her, I had very little reserve about leaving my puppy with her. She kept me informed and sent pics while I was gone and my boy was in a great mood when I got home. She even gave me useful tips for feeding my fat dog that hates his dog food!
