We got my first dog, Snowy (bichon frise/maltese mix), when I was 5 years old. I used to push her around the house in my baby doll stroller. When I was 8, I begged my mom for another dog and she finally agreed. We adopted Oreo (shih tzu/poodle mix), the love of my life.

I finally got the chance to live with a big dog when my roommate adopted a pitbull mix from the humane society last year. As she was usually out of the house, I took on most of the responsibility of caring for her and feeding her.

I'm the kind of person that will go to a gathering and make friends with the dogs or stop you on the street to tell you how beautiful your dog is.

I would like to know age, personality traits/behavioral issues, size, and medical conditions (just to be prepared). No breed preferences. Grew up with small dogs, but love dogs of all sizes.

I've been administering oral medication to my dogs for years, so I'm very comfortable in that. Also willing to learn how to administer other types of medication.
