Navigate to the Search box and enter your dates. Choose a sitter who will come to your home, or a sitter who will watch your dog in their home. Further refine your results by reading sitter's reviews, filtering by price, and zooming in and out on the map to search within a radius.
Connect with your sitter using the "Contact this Sitter" button on your sitter's profile. Consider messaging multiple sitters, especially if you are looking for a quick response. Get to know your sitter and, if you would like, schedule a meeting between your sitter and your pooch.
Book your stay using the "Book It!" button on your sitter's profile or in your message thread. Pay your sitter securely through the Rover transaction system using your credit card. Rover.com will hold these funds until after your dog has been cared for to make sure you are satisfied with the service. Remember that paying through Rover.com allows the site to stay up and running!
Exchange addresses, contact information, and drop off and pickup details with your sitter. Make sure your sitter has emergency information and any details required for your dog's care. Exchanging this information through the Rover.com messaging service ensures that this information is always available to your sitter.

Reviews: Every time you complete a transaction, the dog owner will be asked to write a review about you. You will only receive reviews for stays booked through Rover.com.
Testimonials: Ask past clients and friends to write testimonials about you.
Uploading more photos of yourself and writing a lengthier description will also help improve your search ranking.
Once you and the dog owner agree to an arrangement, either of you can book the stay using the "Book It!" button on your profile or in the message thread.

Rover.com will hold these funds until after the stay has been completed to make sure that you receive the funds agreed upon for the service.
